That flash-hider is hideous. otherwise, I like it very simple.

I've always justified that by thinking that the operators would leave it on the 4x setting and that its faster to transition to the docter than flipping the switch.

Its a Daniel Defence mk18 risII rail. I think several members can give you parts lists on what the entire gun is.

Do both. and to get back on topic: I've just ordered a set of Mbus sights, a CTR Stock, and a MOE Grip in FDE for my upcoming (as in, its all in the mail) CQBR-ish project. MBUS and CTR are both RS.

I just purchased one of these off a fellow forum member, and had the chance to throw some batteries in it this evening. Wow! its insanely bright & looks good. It's definitely a good alternative to getting the real thing, especially for airsoft.

Ive been considering getting one of these. I'll wait till your back in NC and see how it shoots before i go for it though

Some old gym bag I had, nothing special, it was just laying around so I cut it to lay flat. Its supposed to be a full on L119 & I have the rest of the parts on another lower (not 100% finished yet, it still needs the CAR stock and a lipo buffer tube), but I burned out the contacts on it. That lower will get a similar paint job once I get it back from my friend who is doing the work. So really its a work in progress. I'm thinking about using a CTR stock instead of the CAR stock though...
