  1. See this is a common thing that comes up - I use my dot sight, I've got it zeroed accurately, and I actively aim with it. I've gone through probably 20 G&P or other brand replica optics, which is probably close to £800 spent on toy optics which I've then sold on or have broken. £400 would have bought me an R/S Eotech and a lens protector, which would still be with me today. So really, because of cheaping out with replica optics, I've actually away £400...
  2. Well *fruitcage*. I thought being reasonably old they'd be cheaper... Oh well, G&P Aimpoint will have to do for now
  3. Story of my life Strangely enough the RX30 is about my favourite dot sight; How much do they tend to go for these days?
  4. That's what I thought, as it seems the Noveske NSR's are pretty decent as well... Maybe Troy set more conditions than everyone else. I'd recommend the MFR though - The trades aren't bang on accurate, but there's no mention of Airsoft and there's nothing to stop a gas system working. Saying that, you're in the US - Buy a real one!
  5. It's a weird one really; Is your RISII the Mk18 style 9" or the 12"? From what I recall most people had issues with the 9". Madbull are a weird one, their MFR and the RISII I've currently got are brilliant - Fit perfectly, on-spec rails, nice trades, no 'airsoft only', nothing blocking the gas system. On the other hand, their Troy TRX and VTAC rails are *fruitcage* appalling; Completely blocked when it comes to a gas system, blatantly, unnecessarily large 'MILSIM/AIRSOFT' only markings and a top rail that my Iron sights wouldn't slide onto. Madbull seem to just like trolling people..
  6. You'll need a new buffer setup for the PRS stock due to the 607's short recoil system, but the Troy RIS will go straight on. Saying that, DD Omega rails look pretty nice with fixed carry handle uppers. Here's some inspiration;
  7. It is indeed - It's looking like the next few weeks officially - They're waiting on a couple more deliveries and the website going live, but they'll be up and running very soon. I'm awaiting a reply from Marlowe on a forum presence here as well as the go-ahead to make an announcement in the news section. I was equally surprised myself - The rail is literally perfect. The finish is nice and flat, and a much earthier brown in person, not bronze or golden at all. Rails happily take anything I want to mount on them, the markings are sharp and accurate. I googled the NSN number and e
  8. A few friends of mine have recently opened up their own Airsoft venture, which is soon to be open in the UK, and I was lucky enough to get a private viewing of their showroom on Saturday, as well as pick up an AEG (out of all 96 G&P models they had) and handle the Bomber MRP I'm about to spend the next 3 months paying for... Anyhow, G&P M4 V5 - Wasn't one of the options I was considering when I went up there, but after handling it, the colour of the rail really grew on me and having the rail this long is a lot more comfortable to use than I'd realised; The short TD grip goes really
  9. I had an R/S Samson rail fit absolutely fine on a KWA LM4 barrel nut - Took a light tap to one half of the thermal bushing to get it to seat, but it mounted without issue.
  10. Sweet jesus, that's absolutely stunning.
  11. Maybe it's just me, but PatrolBase's 'Airsoft women' photo competition is really pissing me off.

Ok, who now wants to see an Arnies swimsuit contest, pistols and rifles at the ready guys? :P

Wait doesn't this lead to another spetsnazdave87 mankini pic? Oh *suitcase* now I have said it :P.

  12. Your math is bad and you should feel bad.
  13. If you've read the book, I'd spare yourself the heartbreak. There's a few slightly entertaining bits, but it's a 'Oh, there's nothing better on Sky this evening' kinda film.
  14. Yeah, that makes sense... Still, I like Brad Pitt as an actor, he's done some really good films. I just don't understand why he chose to turn what could have been one of the greatest films of the decade into a frikkin' crapshack of a movie.
  15. I saw World War Z last night. Whoever made that film is a *fruitcage* godforsaken *suitcase* for brains useless *fruitcage* *Ubar* with a *rickroll* for a nose, a black, emotionless heart, no *fruitcage* talent, no *fruitcage* idea, a complete inability to appreciate a story, and just generally a *fruitcage* *Ubar*. WARNING - SPOILER ALERT. The world gets a slight cold. Brad Pitt is night nurse. The end.
  16. Back to AEG's... I feel dirty.

Never had that issue myself, but then I just sell pistols and not that many. I see what you mean for somethings though.

In winter use MAPP. Personally I think some people are just unrealistic when it comes to rifle sales. If you want a hobby that pays try pearl farming or gold panning.

I just try to minimise my losses, I'm not actively trying to make a profit on second hand sales.

  17. I've loved my Gaspedal since I bought it - It's about the only accessory I've never considered selling. I use mine as it is, without a handstop or anything, just on the side of the rail. Most ergonomically suitable way for me to grip the handguard, and it looks cool.
  18. Am I the only one aware of the fact Snowden and Assange were given information that could catapult them to fame and fortune and don't actually give two *fruitcage*s about privacy and rights?

Apologies - That should have read activities.

Point is, whether he's legally a traitor or not doesn't really matter, he still is one - He's betrayed his own country for personal gain, that's the long and short of the story.

    3. DrAlexanderTobacco

I'm not sure that's the case. Is there any evidence of him doing this for personal gain so far? He's made it very clear in his interviews so far that he's thrown away everything in his life to do this. I'm glad he became a 'traitor', so to speak, to get evidence of what was happening and what could happen into the public light. It's generating a lot of important discussion. I think it's going to get a lot more interesting in the next few weeks.

      Assange is still a c**t though :D

  19. That sentence pretty much sums up why I'm an Airsofter. On a serious note though, grey would be a good colour for the Sandpit; I might give a cheap grey fleece a go on top of my ATACS AU stuff next time I'm there...
  20. I was in the brown campsite 'n all - Not far from the gate between brown and white, maybe 30 yards down and to the left of the burger van? Rammstein were definitely up there with the best live shows I've seen, they were hilarious, epic, terrifying and loud all at the same time. I really enjoyed seeing Airbourne, who I'd never heard of - We got to the stage fairly early for A Day to Remember, and watched them for an hour - They were nuts. Enter Shikari were also brilliant.. In fact, all the bands I saw were *fruitcage* fantastic. Shame about the spitfire indeed, but at least a few peop
  21. Slipknot also nailed it I thought... Amazing weekend in general.
  22. Just got back from Download. Rammstein... I lack the words. I just... SO MUCH FIRE.
