  1. Yeah i also found it here http://www.desertdeucesurplus.com/servlet/the-1427/Condor-Phantom-Soft-Shell/Detail I'm inclined to buy from here since it also has the Tru-Spec H20 trousers in MARPAT that i was trying to find in stock.
  2. And now i just need to find a place to buy them ... Does anyone knows a good place where i can buy one ?
  3. Care to remind me which part is that ? Don't have any diagram laying around ...
  4. It's raining like hell ... time to play airsoft!!

  5. Grave digging hell yeah ( its close to Halloween so bite me ). Since this big boy doesn't seem to fit any standard 1911 holsters can somebody point me to a compatible holster ? ACM copy or otherwise ?
  6. Although i see the stupidity of them, some of them are actually very ingenious The toilets around the fire are awesome !
  7. Nice to see that Linux users are starting to be more common
  8. You had the old "closed bolt" version right ? People should differentiate between the two version when talking about problems. They are different guns and have different issues, i think it would be very useful if people started to tell beforehand which version they have. It's starting to get hard just knowing what to say/advise this way
  9. I was using Guarder Powerful Gas ( which looking at my chrono readings puts it at the same power as ET-1600 ). One minute i was filling the mag the other i had my ears buzzing and had mag bits EVERYWHERE! Which of course made me check if i had all my body parts in the same place as before I posted this before but ... So if you have a Gen 1 mag, DO NOT fill with anything stronger than Green Gas I make extensive use of CO2 on my M16 ( either from the mags or from external rig ) and my 4 prong Ra-Tech valve with the tip sanded and with the rubber seal mod, is still working aft
  10. Well nobody can give an 100% guarantee that the mags will come leak free, but last time i ordered 5 M4 mags they ALL came leak free and still are leak free. You CAN get a lemon but they're light years away from the first generation of mags. I still have 2 first gen m4 mags, one surprisingly enough is the best mag i have the other well .... it was blown to pieces and made some booboos in me
  11. BTW Socom Gear M4 Gas Blow Back Rifle (Stag x Magpul), http://redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Gas_Pistols_SMGs_Socom_Gear_Socom_Gear_M4_Gas_Blow_Back_Rifle_Stag_x_Magpul_BLACK_font_color_red_Pre_Order_font.htm
  12. Are you sure ? Every time i'm feeling tired or feeling down i just go up to my room, get one of my rifles or gear and start working on them. My problems won't go away but at least i end up feeling much better
  13. Just bought one my self, is that the "old" one or the new Elite Ops one ?
  14. Just get the RA-tech one and you're good. The original one is VERY weak and will constantly break! It's the MAJOR failure point on WE's trigger system.
  15. The contact area of part #66 to the trigger is very small and exerts very little pressure. My main M4 has a steel valve knocker ( part #66 ) and firing pin assembly from Ra-Tech and after 30k rounds it still has the original v1 trigger group. I only filed it a bit where the sear grips the trigger after ~15k rounds. For the trigger group to function properly you need to change the valve knocker + firing pin assembly and properly maintain the trigger group clean ( and this is very important because with the grease applied you can accumulate dirt and metal shavings pretty fast ) and well lube
  16. Although i too would prefer a JAE replica stock, the EBR and Wood version are the most widely known and off course with the biggest market, theoretically speaking that is. SO we have kow many companies already making wood stocks ? Guarder, Ra-Tech ( or is it just an AFC resell ?) and Action-Army ? PS. Nobody noticed the error on guarder's poster ?
  17. So who's gonna buy Guarder's M14 Beech Wood Stock for the WE M14 Gas Blowbcak ? BTW i'll try to post tomorrow or so the reason why the receiver moves forward in the stock and how to avoid/fix it.
  18. So has anyone tried to put a barrel cover for the TM on the WE ?
  19. The open and closed bolt trigger groups are the same, what i need to know is if the trigger itself is "short" ( like the M4 ) or is elongated ( like the SCAR ). I think the PDW uses the same trigger than the M4/M16/HK416 but i want to confirm it before i think about getting one. I already have 4 extra steel trigger groups for the M series, i don't feel like buying another set just for the PDW.
  20. BTW can anyone confirm that the PDW uses the same trigger parts as the M series ?
  21. Well let me be straight and to the point with this. Asking whether to get a M14 or a PDW is basically the same as asking which one to get, a car or a motorcycle. They are complete different guns ... the PDW is short and very light compare to the sheer size of the M14 and its weight, the way you use them on the field will be totally different! No even counting the weight and size differences of a STANAG or PDW mags versus the M14 mag ( a WE M14 mag weights exactly 0.5kg when empty ). If this is your first GBBR i still recommend you to get the KJW, not that i think the WE PDW Open Bolt to b
  22. Huh your posts are getting a bit confusing ... sacairsoftsn00py usually uses duster on his GBBR's and he clearly stated he had a max range of 180 feet using duster ( 320 fps with .20g BB's ). Read my posts about the M14 ( basically the same hop-up unit ), i measured a max range of ~80m ( 260 feet ) with the M14 shooting >450 fps with an effective range ( as in, i could always hit what i was aiming at ) of about 60~70m ( 200~230 feet ) when using .28g BB's. This was with the stock configuration, with a prometheus vsr bucking the groupings were a bit more tight.
  23. Looks a bit how my m14 performed stock ( although i run with much higher FPS and as such at 180 feet my accuracy was just a bit better ), this got me scratching really hard for a PDW now If the PDW gets the same accuracy boost from replacing the hop with a Prometheus VSR bucking as my M14 it's definitely a HUGE improvement over the old system ------------------- Btw how does the gun perform/functions/cycles with the STANAG mags ? I already have a shitload of WE mags and it's way cheaper ( and reversible ) to just convert them with the open bolt kit than having to buy a bunch of br
  24. Just wanna add that unless you plan to use Co2 the stock trigger group will last quite a while with green gas. My main M4 ( v1 btw ) still has the stock trigger group and has now WAY more than 30k rounds ( stopped counting lol ) and the only thing i changed was the valve locker ( and filled down the trigger around the 20k mark ). The valve locker and firing pin assembly from ra-tech costs like $25. Unless you plan to use Co2, in that case you really need to drop some cash on it ( something around 110€, the entire trigger group ).
