Both are mine and are currently identical internally, both will slowly get upgrades as the stock ARES parts show any signs of wear. I set them up more or less the same because its a very comfortable set up and everything is interchangeable. In the past I have had back ups that used different magazines or batteries and it was lame (to me) to need an entire set of magazines and batteries and possibly switch gear around. I could of gone with a different M4 variant but I always end up running them pretty bare anyhow.

This is pretty similar to my Eagle chest rig I had before I tried the TT PC but that's because I am really happy with the way its set up. I normally run 3 more PMAGs but I don't store the rig with the BFG pouch loaded. CA 1000 round hi-caps by the looks of them. I wish the SA-58 model got more support. I had a full stock with a RAS and the OSW. I wouldn't buy another if it wasn't so hard to source the gun and magazines without paying quite a bit more then a comparable carbine.

Another AK question for the experts. Will AKs from the 100 series take wooden fore grips? Wanting to add wood to the AKS-104 but not sure if its a straight swap.

Quick question for those more knowledgeable on the AK platform. Has anyone used RPKs with cut down barrels historically? I know that several groups used cut down RPDs but no one currently makes an RPD.

ATACS looks hot. Was it made for a teams dude or other wise?

In theory, if that works it should work on a CQBR length barrel as well. Because when you attach an M203 to a CQBR you just need the mod the front mount and/or flash hider.

Anyone have pictures of a Block II CQBR with a M203 mounted?

Me this past weekend.

My WIP. I have a enhanced trigger guard and a compensator in the mail. Getting an E2 for that mount come Christmas. And I am thinking of a COMPM4 as far as an optic goes, maybe a T-1.

I run mine so that the bottom sits right above my belly button.
