  1. Uploaded with ImageShack.us is your bolt starting to look like this? I didn't realize my hammer was missing the "roller" to prevent this damage and a lot of the headache of this gun!!! Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  2. Make sure you fill up the mag all the way with gas. The slide locks back so reliably I'd set my watch to it!!! Whatever that means!!! I gotta get a valve key zonIncan get this thing running again!!!! I miss my 5 7 in action!
  3. did WE change the name of the PDW to the "RDW" in the U.S. to prevent possible trademark violaitons. I have seen this gun listed as the RDW on more than one site.
  4. I know I diss on WE a lot but I think I gotta get one of these!
  5. take'n pics of my gear while waiting to go to work!

  6. I guess a good valve key is a MUST for any aspiring GBB-er ....this one seems to be the one I would pick; whattyah think? http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/element-magazine-valve-key-for-ksc-and-wa-gas-charging-valve.html I'm not sure what 2mm flat precistion drivers are.....maybe you could explain/link? thanx.
  7. I took apart both my mags yesterday but I couldn't figure our how to get to the knocker valve or any of the valves for that matter; though I'm impressed with the craftsmanship of this tokyo marui gun! could you briefly tutorialize, or direct me to a link? thanx
  8. which o-rings should be replaced? I assume its the ones on the "knocker valve"? The valve that is struck to let the gas out of the mag?
  9. Where can I find replacements? I'm going to try the "flip" and see what happens. I really love this 5-7 (recoil, accuracy, looks). Ebay is where I got my SERPA Sportster, as the CQC is unnecessary, and the platform can be used for all the rest of my pistols as well!!!
  10. Well, I bought a lemon. The PDW didn't work right from the first shot. It was an aesthetically beautiful gun but the bolt locked back after every other shot. I was never able to skirmish the gun and eventually abandoned all hope and sold it. The person who bought it said some parts were missing and there was considerable wear on the hammer from that. Get the GHK!!! WE's QC is really not that good from my other experience with their pistols as well. I haven't completely lost hope in WE because they seem to be trying and their guns are priced competively.
  11. I for one was reallly disappointed with the WE PDW (just sold it) but I love the idea of the KAC PDW, so I'm still open to the idea. Does anyone know if "PDW" mags are coming out for hte GHK? I've seen those cooldown videos and this gun looks WAYYY better than the WE...
  12. So was it hard to take a part your 5-7 and get it into those Guarder shells? I'm looking at doing the folilage green one but it would only be for fun.
  13. I love this gun. I love the real steel version too but I can't afford it at the time. I took apart the hop-up barrel and looked at the stock outter barrell and noticed the infamous "warping" that everyone is talking about but it doesn't effect the shooting in anyway that I can tell. The above stated problem is definately the FIRST problem i've had and I'm definately willing to work with it. This gun has enamoured me to TM pistols and look forward to the Glock 18!!
  14. thanx!!! I would have never thought of that. I'll have to try that out.
  15. okay, so i was wondering if any of you FiveseveN owners have this very annoying problem: The nature of a back-up weapon is for it to be holstered (I use a RS SERPA btw and its great!) When I go to fire my pistol after it has sat a awhile the first couple of shots don't cycle all the way sometimes causing a stoppage. I have to re-rack the gun to get it to fire correctly. Once the gun starts shooting everything is fine and the gun cycles completely. I think the nozzle gets stuck in the hop-up chamber and once a couple of shots are fired the nozzle doesn't get stuck anymore allowing for nor

nice UZI. What kind is it? Is the GBB?
  17. ditto wow, this thread has definately been an interesting re-assessment of my opinion (albiet factually limited) of VFC. That M4 GBBR was definately tempting to me but I always had a high opinion of VFC AEG's, eventhough I've never owned one. Please keep us updated!!!
  18. hmmmm, I don't think so...but I think its kinda funny that you're in Japan and you got the Taiwan version!
  19. you can get the NPAS kit from RA-tech...
  20. I found this store (Blowack Armory) in California that works exclusively on WE rifles, and for the purposes of this thread, the KAC PDW. They're legit...I purchased a WE 1911 MEU Custom and have heard good things on GasGuns.info . http://www.blowbackarmory.net/category_s/118.htm I might get the general "once-over" that sounds like they'll tune up your gun and make it shoot well. This gives me a little more hope about WE.
  21. I too am very curious about this. What is the difference? What makes it "open" and what makes it "closed?" I've read every page on this thread but I'm still not clear. I might invest in the coversion kit.
  22. http://store.kwausa.com/edgi601mminnerbarrel395mm-2-1-1.aspx Or you can contact EDGi directly to have one cut the size you want.
  23. does anyone have a tightbore barrel put in their MP7? I read somewhere that 6.03mm is as tight as one would want as any tighter would result in jamming. I was thinking about getting a 220mm 6.01mm, but I don't want to plunk down the $50 and have an MP7 that has ANOTHER reason to jam (e.g., swollen hop-up).
  24. I am so happy to see a dedicated airsoft mp7 silencer!!! I think I'll go ahead and get that 220mm++++ tightbore and adaptor while I wait for this beauty to come out. I'm going to put a madbull grenade launcher on too. I used a 203 launcher today and it was SICK!!
  25. Thank god you guys are back up because I was getting sick of trying to navigate Airsoft Forum and those bloody Americans!
