View New Content is having some issues for me still. My usual selections are Forums, Past 24 hours (since the 'Content I haven't seen yet' is super-picky in what it considers 'seen') and Just items I follow, it works. But I don't think old threads where I have posted, but which I haven't marked as 'follow this thread' don't show in that, so I add 'Topics I participated in', and it goes all wonky and shows me threads I ahve not posted in and haven't even seen, while dumping the threads that show when I use 'Just items I follow'. I'm trying to set the selections so that I could easil

Hmm, looks like the 'content I have not seen' is pretty quick to consider content to have been seen So using that as filter runs stuff quickly off the new content list. It looks like seeing the topic on the list is enough for it to be considered 'seen' as opposed to actually reading the new posts.

Hmm, the new 'View new content' options are nice, but I'm not sure if the 'Topics I participate in' works. I have came across topics that I have replied in that have new posts. But they are not topics I 'Follow', and they don't show up in the 'View new content' when filtered with 'Topics I participate in', or at least I don't seem to be able to get them to show.

Maruzen's blue shells for M870 and M1100 were undersized compared to 12-gauge, the last time I checked. More like 14-gauge or 16-gauge, IIRC.

I personally like the way it's at top, and how it's more compact than before. But I think he meant how the bar is now stuck on top, and no longer floating at the bottom as you scroll.

Yea, wish they made another run of the XCart revolvers, although I'm starting to consider the M29's by now. No one touched the HFC revovlers, I guess?

Has any of you played around with those HFC revolvers? Or know a reputable seller with Marushin XCart SAA in stock? I'm having some ideas where I'd need (at least) a pair of Colt-ish revolvers and Tanaka's are pricing themselves out of the range for that...

Sounds like you're using too light lube. The expert opinion suggests using RC shock grease (as in grease, not light oil) for lubrication

Talk about silly reason for that? I managed to figure out why I didn't see it. I'm running Chrome at +1 zoom due to sight issues when reading small-print, it screws up with fit. :/ This one goes in my end of the field, sorry.

Looks like 'ally' magpul with green tape and a strap, uba. Similar jury rigs have been shown in photos from the operational theaters done with tape and paracord.

I see the quickbar, but not the Weapon subsection. Not a resolution problem, since I have 24" widescreen monitor running the same 1920x1200... There's wide empty space between Pictures and then Forum Rules & Guidelines. Are you certain you use the default forum skin? And Misfit, does the search work with three-letter acronyms? Most forum searches don't handle those, since they are too short to index properly.

Right, I'll try to give a step-by-step example of what I meant with the bar. - Go to General Discussion > Airsofting Picture Threads > Weapons > Shotgun picture thread - Next step is coming back to the Weapons level in the sub-categories... Back button on the browser is cumbersome and needs refreshes, and if one has waded through multiple pages in same thread, it can get really cumbersome. The navigation bar at bottom stops at Airsofting picture Threads level, so it gets one back that level and then back to Weapons sublevel. Hope this clears what I was intending to say?

Just a question on the forum sublevel headers on the default skin? Is there anything that could be done, since navigating in the lower levels of Gear and Picture sections gets cumbersome with the default three-level quick links at the bottom navigation bar? Also as an aside on CKinnerley's point about 'Gun discussion' section, it could be nice if there was some way to tag stuff together somehow, as people keep discussing cosmetic or functional modifications to various RIFs in threads concerning them in News, Pictures, Reviews and sometimes even Gear, if it is a RIF tied to some specific lo

I wouldn't bin all the knives. Sometimes you need a knife, and not a blade stuck in a grip of glorified pliers. But three knives can be a bit much.

Hmm, I'm not too convinced on photoshop-fitting parts on guns. One'd need to have _very_ identically photographged gun and parts to have the scale exact. And anyway, those FIRST 'sniper stocks' seem to be out-of-stock (pun intended) everywhere I have looked so far. If one could fit something like that on KC02, it could look pretty neat, though.

Well, woodland skirmish report follows. I think I need to give the magazines about 4/10 for now, had some issues feeding. The gun was loud enough to be a deterrent to the little sprouts, though. Fresh green gas might help with the feeding, as would some more detailed maintenance of the magazines with a bit of file and sandpaper. One magazine fell on a rock and developled a leak in the joint area, but that's to be expected, not many magazines would have taken that sort of impact.
