  1. meh, camel spiders die like normal spiders when you stab them with a trip flare picket. They also raise their arms up and scream as they run away from you. Darkchild
  2. Agreed, i cant stand ghillie suits, i dont think they are necessary unless you are shooting from a position with no concealment, which is bad drills anyway. On my sniper cadre i ###### my DS off by not wearing a ghillie during a Cam and con lesson. I hid using trap shadow and poked my muzzle through a network of fallen branches. They were mad cos they couldnt find me! I regret that i didnt take any pics of my time as a sniper. Darkchild
  3. ok, and why will he need more than his word to marry her? in other words, i dont get the joke. Darkchild
  4. Yeah i got bored so thought i'd "modernise" a 95 shirt. Now bear in mind im no sewing expert and dont own a sewing machine, so this is nothing special.(i cut my face out cos im pulling a daft face) I cut the buttons off the front and replaced them with velcro strips to make it more body armour friendly. I replaced the cuff buttons with velcro I cut off the chest pockets, resized them to fit a small size waterproof ortlieb bag (which is what i keep my notebook in) and sewed them onto the sleeves, replacing the buttons with velcro also. And i put a little velcro square o
  5. I know in Telic 1 everyone wore their swords fixed all the time in combat, but stuff has changed since then. On Telic 10 i never fixed my sword once,(it lived in my daysack) though the style of combat was wholly different. In conventional warfare, you tend to fix swords just as your about to go into an assault or anywhere where you expect to meet the enemy in close quarters. It is really dictated by the situation. EDIT: Grim, your desert loadout is great but your kit needs to look far more worn for a realisitc impression. Practically everything desert i own is either faded throu
  6. not light infantry, Rifles. Formerly 2nd Bn Royal Green Jackets. I got back from Iraq in November and am of to Afghan either this Christmas (if i can wangle it) or next year sometime. @Subbo: dont be an idiot, you know the point im making. The only people who care about "disrespecting" real units by wearing their unit flashes, badges, head dress etc are AIRSOFTERS. Real soldiers do not care if you run around the woods on a Sunday wearing an uber special forces badge or whatever, they have more important things to worry about. @Lerch: Your loadout is a fine generic infantry l
  7. Hey eel one, you are wearing my unit's beret and cap badge! And *shock horror* I dont care! nice loadouts@ Eel one and lerch, and ignore anyone that tells you not to wear unit badges or says sarcastic comments like "how was p-company for you?" Cos 99% of real soldiers couldnt care less. Darkchild

  16. your's isnt an Hk53, wrong magwell. And they do not come issued with that type of flash hider, they have either a birdcage or forked type. I'd presume that yours would be designated a G41K i think The HK53 was my primary issue weapon for 2 years in N.I Darkchild
  17. agreed also, great loadout. Though i'd say its more Graw 2 rifleman looking than COD4 FR. Darkchild
  18. ignore him, you're an individual! Darkchild
  19. Subbo: who the hell are you to comment on the SAS exactly? In my experience, people who call other people "walts" are the waltiest of all. So why dont you leave people alone and let them enjoy their hobby. Darkchild
  20. I'll take your word for it. DOnt get me wrong its a nice rig, its just that the pics seemed to give the impression that the material had strange qualities. Darkchild
  21. so why would the military use it? why not just use black? whats the point of making a unique colour if it serves no purpose? Darkchild
