Another idea for you could be to actually not tuck in your ACU's and, if you can, wear the belt outside your blouse (think old BDU pistol belt) and it should also look very nice.

....please don't remind me of basic training *shivers* anywho the IBA is a little longer and a replica doesnt weight nearly as much. I've had the Condor for a few years now and surprisingly it's lasted quite well and is nice to wear when I just want to through on a chest rig (I have no pouches mounted on the IBA).

Might I suggest an IBA then? They extend lower on the body than most other plate carriers (almost covers the groin for me w/o the extra piece).

After 10 years of airsofting I've sworn off all clones unless I'm ripping everything out of them, and quite frankly the shells arn't all that great either. No I'm looking at either a friends old CA the new TM (I am wary of the EBB though) possibly building on from an ancient TM if I can find one.

Thanks. I use the front sight with the RD, and I also prefer the look of having the front sight post (this looks identical (other than the PEQ being fatter than the real one) to the M4A1 the Army issued me).

Have you actually worn a real Armor chassis or just a replica? I have a real one and it is far from the most comfortable piece of military gear. TBH I like the CIRAS much more (and find it more comfortable) and a TAC vest beats both in "comfort" although it might not in utility.

My new gas mask setup for when I decide to use smokes as a primary (I launch them out of a standalone 203 tube w/ CO2 shells w/ no bb's. A bit of wadding and it makes a great smoke motor). I'm going to see if I can get inpact-proof lenses for it but I'm not holding my breath....
