  1. Apparently the Dragon Red version is much better in terms of pattern and construction quality. http://dragonredairsoft.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=33_35&products_id=65 Although this is a replica of the combat and not the field stuff. - Zepher
  2. Unfortunately I got rid of that AK. I really loved it though. Some day I will get another AK of some kind - Zepher
  3. Very nice. May I ask for a parts list? - Zepher
  4. It's stock right now except for an M120 motor, so it's running just under 400FPS on the middle spring guide setting (it's an ICS). Before too long I want to get a high torque motor and have it running about 460FPS. - Zepher
  5. Thanks The scope will stay where it is for the time being. It's comfortable to use and functionality wise it should be as close to the bore as possible. The short mag is just for the pictures, as I think it suits the marksman style but yes, I'll be using 30rd style mags in skirmishes. - Zepher
  6. Haha, well thanks for both opinions guys I may have the cloth just cover the suppressor yet, I'm unsure. In the end it will be more effective in a camo sense to not have that black length of barrel showing between the OD handguard and camo covered suppressor. So we'll see. - Zepher
  7. Thanks Lerch. Basically it's an SKS Chest Rig as seen here. Then I made some cuts, added some fastex buckles, and mounted 3 MOLLE pouches, by weaving the MALICE clips/MOLLE straps through slots that I cut in the canvas of the chicom. It's really very simple, and very stable and comfortable. Pretty hard to beat since the chicom rigs are so dirt cheap. - Zepher
  8. There is really not much to say. I cut the canvas where I needed to in order to thread the MALICE clips or MOLLE attachments onto the chicom. As can be seen in the picture, I added a TT single pistol mag pouch, BHI GP/Medical pouch and DBT triple flashbang pouch. I also replaced the front main buckle with a fastex one and added an additional smaller buckle higher up to help secure the rig. Additionally I just finished putting fastex buckles on the shoulder straps/suspenders to give the rig the ability to quick release. Basically the goal was to turn the chicom which was already a decent li
  9. Modded Chicom Chest Rig. Figured this could go in here as it runs like a belt rig with suspenders. - Zephyr
  10. Cheers. Yeah the whole loadout is very low weight and functional, which was the goal. Pack is a Camelbak Hawg I think. - Zepher
  11. Couple of pictures of me after yesterday's skirmish in my work in progress DPM gillie. - Zepher

  14. I had a couple of team mates at that event as well. Apparently it was good fun. I'm liking both of the rifles in the above pics. - Zepher
  15. HK416. Lots of work to do still, but it's a start. Still to come, PEQ15, sling adaptor, TD short vert. grip and short dot replica in Larue mount. And maybe a CTR stock, later on. - Zepher
