In the interest of better ballistics, you'd be correct. But for skirmishing, the risks outweigh any benefit.

 

The effect of a pointed projectile on terminal ballistics is greater penetration, which in airsoft is a quick and certain way to lead to draconian legal measures, litigation, and possible bodily harm to your fellow players ((Which is a Bad Thing)).

 

Therefore, pointed projectiles are not the next logical progression in Airsoft, QED.

I personally think that this is a bad idea.

 

bbs are meant to be round and are safest this way..

 

if we allow lots of people to use these then it would change airsofting a lot. i wouldnt want to play against someone using them sort of shape of bullets against me in a game. i can only see the word pain coming to me
