Crandall
I was surfing militarymorons.com in the 2nd line page 2, when I came across this vest and MP5K. Not only did I think the vest looked good, but that MP5K was just brilliant looking. I would probably never be able to make it, but would it even be possible? Cheers guys! sp00n
TM MP5PDW: Aimpoint A3 style grip (here) Metal folding stock (here) The stock is for an M4, but it wouldnt be to hard to make it work on an MP5K.
Crandall
All of a sudden, this is seeming very doable for me! The stock would probably only need a little dremeling! I just need to source some pictures for how the regular PDW stock fits on the MP5K. Thanks for the links sp00n!
Kukailimoku
Wow. Do it! :D Then post pics in the picture thread for us to ogle.
Crandall
I will, I'm planning on getting a MP5K PDW for my first AEG in a few weeks! I'll then need to raise enough money for the aimpoint, mount, stock, and SEF grip! I can't wait.
Catchv22
The stock is a skeleton stock made by ACE. You can check out their website for their receiver mounts for ideas on how to modify it.
bullzebub
im going to steal some info from gremlin gunworx: 4. The most frequently asked question of all time? The question I get an e-mail about every week is "How do you fit an M4 stock to the back of an MP5 k?" Well to be honest the answer couldn't be simpler: You'll need to remove the sprung clip which holds the swivel in the back plate. (It's located outside the gun, atop the swivel itself, and can be prised off easily) Next, (assuming you got the whole M4 stock along with all it's fittings) you just need to find a nut which will fit the long bolt which normally holds the stock onto the M4. (The bolt can bee seen protruding from the stock pipe near the top of this pic). 5. Make sure the bolt isn't too deep, as the buttplate still has to fit onto the back of the gun without catching the back of the gearbox. Once the nut is holding the stock in place, you can drill through the plate and into the collar at the base of the stock. The metal is thick enough here to accept a self tapping screw, which will stop the entire stock from rotating around the center bolt, and from coming loose as a result. You can see that I put two in on mine because I feel it also helps with the stability of the entire stock. a m249 buttplate should finish it off... http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/news/newsar.../m249-stock.jpg
bullzebub
and by the way .. i think you should save a few bucks and get a ordinary mp5k ... but that is only if you can do without the flashider ... damn those things are expensive!
Kosac
The scope mount is off an MP5J thebody could just be an MP5 metal body and the stock well tahts been covered
Soloman
That also looks like there is a laser there, in the cocking tube, or something.
richie_j
the laser looks to be an ICS m-74b laser i think. It can if in below the sight, so it needs the custom fron bit thingy. the rest, : -aimpoint, -a3 body, -m4 folding stock -large flashhider (i think it comes with the pdw)
Crandall
we'll my MP5K PDW is ordered from poweredgeusa (they just need to varify it) I wasn't gonna be able to get the regular MP5K because I need a stcok. I'm gonna start off with the low mount, and scope with the SEF Grip, and later buy the Stock. if I get some extra cash and time i'll see if I can do the custom laser job. I really want this gun to turn out good. I also need that vest!
doc_newstead
Have you tried e-mailing MM? I don't want to be responsible for a flood of spam in his direction, so be sensible peeps, but if you ask him about the gun crandall, he might be able to tell you how he made it I've e-mailed about some items on his website before, and he always replied. Crandall
Ohh, I might try later, poweredge hasn't replied, and my other retalier doesn't have the MP5K PDW in, might be a P90 instead.
