jond36
My current Mid-Cap magazines are wobbling like crazy it is rediculous. Almost to the point where they want to fall out. What is the best brand (Mid-Caps) with the least mag wobble? Thanks for any help, Jon
Mental Medic
What kind of midcap do you have? What AEG is it specifically i.e. brand name and model? Mag wobble can be fixed easily with some electrical tape on some areas of the hop up if the gun has a 1 piece hop up. Though it really depends on what gun it is.
Andrew March
Jon, as a stop gap measure use some black duct tape to pad out the mag well, obviously keep it away from the gun internals and the mag release.
jond36
Yeah I currently have tape on my magazines, but because I am buying more AR varients I am going to need more AR magazines. I don't wanna buy the same cheap brand. They are MAG mid caps and it is a Stag Arms/Echo1 weapon and Dboys weapon.
Stuey
Well, a lot of the various brands of AR variants have different sized mag wells, so magazines will fit differently in different guns. Therefore it's a bit of pot luck working out which magazines work with which guns. TBH, a bit of black electrical tape sorts it out fine. Stu.
[BS]_MARS
I'd put the tape on the gun, not the mag. That means you can tailor the fit to each gun, and not have certain mags for certain guns.

Stuey
But surely with differing mag sizes, you'll still have the same problem? Stu.
[BS]_MARS
Well, if you are using all the same brand mags, it should work. For me, my G&P lower doesn't like my CA mags, so I just shimmed it with tape.
ev2uk
Good old electrial tape.
AceOfSkulls
thats wierd i have the oposite problem, my MAG midcaps are too tight for my dboys M4 magwell , as i have my mag well slightly padded to fit the D-boy (oh the irony) high-caps correctly
DFM56
MAG midcaps are also wobbly in my combat machines lower, I just put a three strips on both sides of the magwell and 5 or so on the back.
