Does Anyone know a way to make Cold Smoke In ur kitchen?

I would like to make smoke grenades that are pin activated!

I have an Idea for a shell....

PVC piping cut up into half foot sections.

Gas Pressure on the bottom that I pump by hand before I throw.

A Pin that the smoke comes out of. And Some Kind Of Material On each side.

Thank You So Much if You can answer this...Even if you dont know how to any ideas would help...if I make one then I will post how to.

Illegal / Banned Subjects

Users from countries where airsoft isn't allowed, cannot ask for advice about this sport if we understand that have illegal items in their possession.

You also cannot discuss anything that will help someone break the law in his or her locale.  This includes the following...

  • How to remove the Orange Paint from the muzzle of US replicas (or in other countries where it is a legal requirement)

  • How to evade paying tax on imported goods

  • How to increase the power of an Airsoft replica beyond what is legal in the specific user's locale (or the maximum 1 Joule limit for this site - whichever is lower)

  • How to make a semi-automatic replica shoot fully-automatic in a country that does not allow this feature

  • How to make your own or modify pyrotechnics

  • How to get restricted items past customs

  • How to get restricted items if you are underage

  • How to reactivate deactivated firearms, even if you only want them to shoot Airsoft ammunition (it is still illegal in the UK)
This is not an exhaustive list, so be sensible and make sure that we all stay on the right side of the law.

Depends on what he is asking. If you are asking how to combine chemicals to make a reaction that will produce smoke, it is against forum rules. If on the other hand you are asking for a way to airate flour (or similar) and pump it out of a grenade like device using air pressure, then that is ok (as long as it is done safely).

What are your plans?

Note: Thread also moved to Project Suggestions forum

Thank You...I'm half retarted so I cant combine cheimcals..but Im wondering if there are any home remedys for a house that keeps shooting back*easily fixable by making them breath in smoke)

If possible please make it possible to make it OK for people to breath in...It doesnt half to be good for you but just not hurt them!

THank You Elrey I posted there and I hope for a reponse soon!

Hmmmm, still not quite sure what the answer to my question was.

If you're looking for something effective, you're looking at either pyros or chemical reactions to produce the desired effects - either of which could turn out to be dangerous so are not permitted on this particular forum.

If you're looking for something 100% safe and easy to make, it is very unlikely that it will be effective enough to work.

Either way, I doubt there are any members here that will be able to help with this as it is a VERY specialised question.

Why are normal smoke grenades unusable for what you want? They are a ready made solution.

I do not have a launcher and Im not ready to pay for one for a gun I dont even have yet. Right now I pla with a CYMA...Ya I know!

I am looking for somthing that may work but is 100% safe and might get the job done

It is different. I want somthing that I can pull a pin with! And yell Smoke In The Hole!

Smoke grenades do not need a laucher, they are hand held only. Using them with a launcher is stupid, dangerous, and all kinds of illegal.

Home made pyro can never be 100 percent safe, and whilst smoke grenades are availiable such as these....

...they are not ring pull but pyro strikers. I believe spectrum is working on a ring pull type.

However at this time I do not beleive what you want is possible. I would also suggest further enquiries along these lines will stray into dangerous territoy and may lead to your being banned.

Actually I do think there are ways to do this without pyro technics AND for the sake of being sane without dry ice (frozen CO2 Which can be very dangerous).

Simplest idea is to like R22 suggested is get flour airbourne. And if you are launching this thing flour will get all over the place AND get very very dusty. You could either launch a loose bag of the stuff packed in your tube or my favorite solution you can use a foam or rubber ball that's been gutted and hollowed for flour.

Other way: for a drop canister, find someway to lock open the nozzle of a can of HFC134a to get a bug fogger effect, that stuff can fog things up pretty quickly (cons: expensive, and potentially a bit dangerous).

As anyone with a look at explosives and/or firefighting would tell you, getting flour dust in air is not a safe situation. Just about anything, when mixed with enough air, will be a fire hazard. Dust-Air Explosion (DAE) is a serious problem in grain elevators, for example, and that dust isn't purposefully being dispersed in air.

Not to mention breathing in the flour can cause all sorts of nasty situations with asthmatics. On the other hand, any kinds of smokes with asthmatics is a risk.

It's better to play safe and use what one can get off-the-shelf than try to cook up something oneself, as the risks and lialibities begin to pile up very fast.

I am going to get a C02 system hooked up under a 1/4" PVC and Load it with Kitchen Flower and It will stay airborn.

I also found that the ashes from coal work perfect if they are let out in the air...I had a cookout last weekend and yesterday I took the dish that holds ashes and poured it out over the back of my deck and it took a long time to actually subside and hit the ground.

On the fact of health...I shall ask if anyone has ever cooked with flour.....

Fire Risk With cooking with flour...we put flour in food that is going to be put into and oven!

And when cooking, you're not breathing in the flour. Want to know what happens when you draw a lungful of flour in mid-game, after running around for a bit?

Ever tried running in a dusty environment? It's not fun, but feel free to try.

JRH, you know you can't have amateur chemists going out and dying in clouds of purple smoke, just because you want to have fun. ;)

Special caution required - Iodine is toxic and so is the purple smoke produced while it is burning.
