TheFull9
I do love a good tactical calendar, and I very much doubt there's many people who frequent this forum who won't enjoy this sneak peek at this entry from MSM. I think I'm going to be hanging up one of these on my pinboard in the barrack block next year, right next to the Edgar Bros HotShots 2013. Doesn't matter what kind of kit you're in to, you're catered for. Not sure whether MSM is giving a portion of profits to any forces related charities, but it would certainly be a huge plus point if they do, and I'll be hoping so.
Azubi
Some of those outfits do appeal to my inner geek. And outer male.
amateurstuntman
The girl in the specs wearing my dad's pants is nice. One has to wonder what these models are thinking about the customers though...
FireKnife
The girl in the specs wearing my dad's pants is nice. One has to wonder what these models are thinking about the customers though... Had a fantastic video about that but I fear I would be banned if I put it on here (think half way during a scene pornstar turns to face the camera and gives a very damning speech about what she thinks of the blokes leering at her). Still to be honest, yay calender, but I just nab the ones we get free at work, all of which are showing a lot more flesh and in some cases look a lot nicer. Plus I expected more 'tasteful nudity' in this one 'FireKnife'

FireKnife
It got taken down, didn't save a copy sadly. Will have to go and hunt for it, or you know, find a girl, some POV camera shots and do my own version 'FireKnife'

ollie_ty
Surely Im not the only one who's sick to death of all this zombie ######?

hwagan
I don't know what you mean, what zombie *suitcase*? Success of The Walking Dead show, and several recentish movies, and the whole miami cannibal thing, have made Zombies and stuff to do with them quite big in England, lots of Zombie themed events starting to spring up etc etc. Chris Costa himself is apparently doing some sort of Zombie-themed training series, which is a bit weird. Still, personally, I'm all for it. As for the Calendar, I'm going to be controversial here. Those women look like most Calendar women; Off of a production line. Not really a fan of the whole made-up to perfection sex object look... Don't get me wrong, I'd do basically any one of them if they felt the need to grab me by the junk, but I wouldn't ask their second name. And I doubt any of them have a clue what firearms they're actually holding.. *edit* Not to say I'm against the Calendars or others like it, I've just never felt the need to own one. I can entirely understand why people would buy one, and great if some of the money does go to a decent charity. Not my thing is all.
FireKnife
To be honest I agree. You can keep your airbrushed models but to be honest the real thing, not a fake woman on a calender is what I like Maybe we should have an airsofters 'reader's wives' calender? The money could go to paying for a big airsoft event? Better than just a generic tits and guns calender? 'FireKnife'
TheFull9
You can keep your airbrushed models but to be honest the real thing, not a fake woman on a calender is what I like You sure? You never mention it. Speaking generally; I can understand the point about extensive use of make-up, not sure how airbrushing is relevant in video footage though, I doubt the clip I posted has been edited in terms of the way the models appear. It is 2012 though, and anything like a professionally done calendar is always going to be shiny and 'artificial' in certain ways, that's what sells. I made my peace with it because that's just the way things are now. I wouldn't say I actually like multicam very much, but all the kit I want is made in it, so I buy it anyway. If you want some girls who do actually know about guns and aren't any sort of glamour models look up Nikki Raye or Blue Force Brittany, or there's a couple on youtube. A channel called 'faliaphotography' springs to mind, nice girl with a very nice AR-15 with all the latest accessories that's called Sprinkles (apparently). I don't mind fake looking women at all though personally. Expensive bits of plastic being used to enhance the look of any given thing is just fine in my book. Anyway (again, not addressed at anyone in the thread), for those folks reading this that would be interested, HotShots' theme next year is WWII pin-ups and 50% of the profits from sales in the UK go to H4H. The last couple of years I believe it's been sold by a couple of gear retailers in the US and again a chunk of the profits go to the equivalent American charity (Wounded Warrior Foundation I think, don't quote me though). My main point with promoting these sorts of items on Arnies has always been that if you're a member here you're probably spending a fair few weekends each year dressed up a bit like someone in the military, so you'd better be digging in to your pocket for a couple of quid every now and again to help out the service people you're emulating when they're in serious need of a hand. I've always figured such calendars would appeal to a lot of folks, there's plenty of other things you can buy that help out of course, this just seems relevant to the audience in question.
