Ballistic Tsunami Airsoft
Can't say I'm an EBairsoft fan, they do have these in though. http://www.ebairsoft.com/gpnvg18-dummy-p-6965.html http://www.ebairsoft.com/gpnvg18-dummy-version-p-6966.html
Habakure
Reckon I could scare the hell out of my dog, with those.
blobface
I like that the poster has "screw your mom" written in an English/Cantonese hybrid format....
Bucko
I wanted these and was about to buy them today, but at the event I just got home from, I was able to run the real ones and now nothing will ever be good enough haha....
Bucko
The replicas look good though. The photos below show me wearing the real things. If only they weren't $40k, I'd buy some for sure. I guess the replicas will have to do. For what it's worth, there's no real point in getting the LED ones, since the real NVGs don't project green light all across your eyes. I bought a night vision monocular for £30 the other day! They must be *suitcase* compared to these lol
Jimmypie
http://tnvc.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/GPNVG_Article.pdf Read up, then you'll understand the price tag
Inq Eisenhorn
These 'dummy' ones though, how are you supposed to use them? That's a genuine question by the way!
Jimmypie
You put them on your helmet and close your eyes, then wish they were real .
Inq Eisenhorn
So, unless I was in a film or something, buying these for airsoft gaming would make me look like a knob.
Jimmypie
Correct, good for photo shoots and props etc... Completely useless for gaming in, and tbh would probably snap off as soon as you started doing anything remotely energetic .
Azubi
I've seen quite a few people with dummy NVGs bolted to their helmets and never seen the point. Amusing watching people get scared to get into dark spaces though, thinking they are real.
Bucko
That's the only reason I'd buy them now - to make other players nervous when we have night games since they've seen me with real ones haha...
blobface
Wouldn't it be cool if someone made a dummy NVG case that is hollowed out at the back with a camera and button holes for GoPro? So it looks like you have NVGs flipped up, but is actually a hidden GoPro.
Azubi
A ReplayXD 1080 would be perfect for that.
