ardrummer292
I know this is a bit of a niche product, but I'm sure some of you will find it useful. It seems PX-Airsoft have a replica DG switch available for X300 and X400 lights, fitted for Glocks: http://www.px-airsoft.com/showroom/model/T0002/templateProductDetails.do?ParentId=1214829048846¤tPage=1&editCurrentLanguage=1213907847692&webId=1213907847691&productId=1410799195466001407 The real Surefire unit for comparison: http://www.surefire.com/dg-remote-tailcap-switch-x-series.html
chas
Nice! Was about to attempt to try to make this for my Kimber. I asume I just need to bend this to fit the 1911 trigger guard?
hitmanNo2
Maybe worth waiting for a 1911 specific one to be released. I'm not sure how well the cheap Chinese electronics would hold up to the stress of re-profiling.
Aod
I have a real one of these, I have to say, it's not as awesome as I'd imagined before I bought it. If you're using a one-hand hold on the pistol, you have a loose grip unless you activate the light, and using a two hand hold your weak hand has nothing to do, and you can't squeeze down as you'll activate the light. I think that's why the DG in the product name reportedly stands for "DevGru", as they're not that useful for everyday guys.
aznriptide859
Yea....given how *suitcasey* my Emerson X300U switch was, I'm not gonna have too high expectations for this.
Hanger
damn, huge price difference... I picked up my RS one for around $50 off ebay. Works great
richie 1
I received mine the other day and I'm glad to report it works fine. I was quiet suprised at how much pressure is needed to activate it. So if it requires a small amount to activate a RS one then this is probably better.
Amoki
^^ This. Used mine on with a replica X300U on a TM Glock 17. No problem whatsoever. Damn shame to use it I have to ditch my Crye Gun-clip for something else though
SwatMP5man
Received one of these today, tried fitting to my HK3P G17 and the switch is about 6-7mm too short and hence doesnt sit where my fingers do on the pistol grip but drops down in front of them.
richie 1
That's how they work mate. Don't forget they fit all Glock models, so if it was longer then it wouldn't fit a G19.

No, it's not, have a look at real steel Surefire DGs and see how they curl up before going down to the pressure switch, that is where there fill the recess at the rear of the trigger guard. The pressure switch is meant to be flush against the pistol grip, again have a look at genuine ones (hell a quick google image search will show you what they are meant to be like!). Final point, the majority of Glock trigger guards are the same size! Hence why Surefire make the DG11 that fits most Glock models!
