Mike_West
I found this weird thing on Tiger111: http://airsoft.tiger111hk.com/Airsoft-Guns-Other-Brand-GAS-Shot-Gun-&-Rifle/c3_133/p33038/MIT-Blaser-R93-LRS2-Gas-Bolt-action-Sniper-Rifle(Black)/product_info.html It's pretty expensive, particularly compared to the KA springer, but looks well-made, with full trades, fluted barrel and more knobbles on the stock than you require. And I don't recall ever hearing of this one.
Horsem4n
King Arms does make this exact model in Gas too. However, it doesn't seem much different from the King Arms at all, but is less expensive (compared to MSRP price, not Evike's crazy pricing) http://www.evike.com/products/54574/ Some better pics on WGC https://www.wgcshop.com/products2?tabpage=2&search=special&rs=Gas%20Bolt%20Action%20Rifles&item=KA-AG-69&search_From=category&itemFrom=&orderno1=&orderno2=
Cesare
Manufacturer MIT? Can't see any real difference in appearance Attack of the China clones? Made by known suspect under other brand name ?
renegadecow
Evike just dropped the KA to $299 though. They usually put a higher sticker price on things then slash them to something more realistic for the illusion of savings.
Gunnman
The King Arms has been out for two years, kinda hoping someone will take the plunge and test the performance of it.
Horsem4n
RC, Evike actually hasn't done that for quite some time. When I worked at shops starting from 2010, we always struggled to compete with Evike's pricing. But I do also wonder how the KA gas R93 is. It's obviously using the tanaka system, so it should be ok at least.
Cannonfodder80
Bloody hell, that's one fugly gun
Gunnman
One of the fugliest, that could be it's charm.
Mike_West
Looks better than the KA springer, and the price of that one is tanking fiercely on Ebay. According to Google, prices for a spring KA Blaser start from $139 on Ebay, and stores are cutting prices of it as well.
Horsem4n
It's not a bad design though. And there's 2 levels of quality in the Springer. One has the slight rotation to the bolt handle and has nicer externals, the other is just a handle connected to the cylinder (the bolt carrier just being part of the receiver). It's pretty easy to upgrade and light weight too. It's only not popular because people apparently don't like the way they look.
Mike_West
Not enough Hitman fans around? Strange.
Horsem4n
Yeah, I had one for a while, but then ended up being able to build a better AEG and didn't want to hold onto it. They are really nice guns. I'd rather one of these than a VSR if I ever get into spring rifles again.
Gunnman
The hop-up on the upgraded one I had was terrible. Wouldn't seal air for nothing. Which is a shame, because other than that it had potential to eat a VSR for breakfast.
Katotaka
Could it be the same gun at the first place? MIT is sometimes referred as Made in Taiwan King Arms moved to TW few years back Not really related, just a wild guess: Shop gets upset(mad) at certain brands and censors their names. Mike_West
Maybe, but it'd be weird considering that the springer is listed as King Arms. But then, the same shop claims that it's Gun Heaven that makes the M1887 replica, so...
