Agent47
little off topic, but why would you need optics on a shotgun if it's so innaccurate? I thought optics were reserved for precision shooting...I guess better target acquisition speed?
Krazy L
that is why you use redots and reflex sites and not scopes. it is for faster targeting. plus if it is a slug gun then they also come in handy
Guest
it's an armashotty!

Belladonna
I always fancied one of the mauzen range, but i'll have to stick to mauri for now... mmm spasage
sp00n
little off topic, but why would you need optics on a shotgun if it's so innaccurate? I thought optics were reserved for precision shooting...I guess better target acquisition speed? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It gets the buckshot in the targets general direction alot faster. Plus (in airsoft anyway) Maruzen decided to not put any form of iron sites on the 870 series. At all.
selfexiled
Indeed; Reflex sights are for...reflexive shooting *ta da* Not to sound sarcastic but that really is what it's for. Most people that would be in the shotgunner role is a tail gunner and a front entry man (I can be wrong, do not take any of my word to be gospel, anyone that does SWAT training want to confirm this?). These roles require quick reactions, fast and generally accurate aiming to get as much into play as fast as possible. As for that 870, great stuff Raygis LasVegas. I love the extendable stock. Pinch it from a m4a1? And what red dot do you have on it?
Tef
i will eventually put a 1x40mm reflex on it. 30mm is far too small for ultra fast targeting, and may be, just may be i will use laser instead
