Vicks Posted May 21, 2006 Report Share Posted May 21, 2006 Howdy folks, Right so i've been using firefox as IE wouldn't load Arnies, so been bout a month so far and today it decided to lose my profile thing and all that stuff, which is "Meh" but then i realised that I have lost all my favourites, is there a way to retrive them? richie_j Posted May 21, 2006 Report Share Posted May 21, 2006 You might have had a phantom firefox. Did it crash randomly one day? go and change the user profiles and see if its made a new one. Click the getting started thing for the exact way, but you have to use run in the start menu. Link to post Share on other sites
Tripod Posted May 21, 2006 Report Share Posted May 21, 2006 If Firefox ever crashes, check for "phantom" firefoxes. To do this, hit ctrl+alt+delete and go to processes. If there's any for firefox, end em before trying to restart firefox. Link to post Share on other sites

Don't think there was anything to important. Also Gaz i tried the thing you did but just opens firefox, not the profile manager thing, am i doing something wrong or does firefox hate me as much as i hate it?
