finally (after half of year), i've done it. The markings are authentic diemaco export version markings, the outer barrel (16") is made of steel on the factory.

here're some photos, if you have some questions -- wellcome=)

The final cost is about 1500 USD (a little bit more maybe)

oh, i forgot to say about internals: it's aseembled in 7mm CA gearbox with custom steel gears, systema spring and shortened to fit outer barrel prometheus 6.03 AK barrel. BB. the GB is strenghted with metal buckles and this makes box work even if it'll be broken (i had an AUG with 3 cracks in GB and it still works)

Ask details about speed or GB in PM, if you're interested in it.

Serial number has NL for Netherlands; that intentional?

i don't think that in this case NL is for Netherlands, cause i've seen here ( http://www.fulton-armory.com/PatternRoom.htm ) the SFW with the same NL markings. Strange enough, cause AFAIK, british SAS sometimes uses Diemaco and there's no need, as i think, to bring the rifle from Netherlands to England, if you already have it here.

Beautiful! I've always wanted a SFW myself. You don't have the Kongsberg logo on it though?

Setting up a Hærens Jegerkommando loadout?

I haven't even seen this logo, so of course there is no such logo on this rifle. AFAIK, Kongsberg is arsenal or armory in Norway?

About HJK: yes, we're trying to reconstruct (reennect? sorry, don't know how it'll be in english -- trying to look and act like as close as possible) HJK, but it's too hard: the troubles with m98, and the lack of information about HJK and their equipment. And, of course, money. The original NFM vest costs too much, and some of us won't be able to buy even combatkit rifle vest.

Uhm... dude, The HJK, FSK and the MJK's Diemaco's has other markings than the ones you chose.

correct trades (Notice how there's no "NL", just a simple N in the serialnumber? ;) )

Also, the M98 isn't a uniform for field use.

They use BDU's that can be ordered from the companies who make them, keep in mind though they're rather expensive.

Thanks for the photo, guess, i'll have to make another metalbody=(.

Well, if you mean BDU's sold at miltrad.no, it's too expensive for everybody of our team=\.

LOL the Authentinazis are out ;)

I believe the Brits are sporting a mixture of the Dutch SFWs with the NL suffix as well as the ones with the dedicated L119A1 stamp but Lord knows what the rest of the world is using..

Anyway, as everyone else is saying on the thread: good work, and it's definitely the best looking DieMaco replica that I've seen in Airsoft :)

Miltrad isn't a official supplier.

Bergans, Helly Hansen, Cato Ringstad etc. is.

I think a rip stop bdu cost about 1600 nok, but you'll have to order it by phone I think.

Is the barrel on your replica 16" ?

I know about Ringstag, but they don't respond, didn't know about Bergans and Helly Hansen, thanks for this info. I've asked NFMCaseb if they could sell some BDU's or Vests (Wolf or, at least CV-1) -- their reply was: we can't help you. I think that's because ministry of defence forbid to sell any m98 stuff (as i've been said in airsoft.no).

Yes, the barrel is about 16" +/- 2mm and made to look like heavy barrel. It's custom made of steel.
