  1. I love this reflex sight, I've used it on my CA M4 for awhile now, and am very pleased with it. Yes brand new I think its way over priced, but I got this used from a guy who got it used from someone else. Its the RX01 model number at least. The current battery I'm using is a double nun-chuck 9.6v paralell 2200mah pack. Its a total of 16 2/3A's so 2 mini 9.6 1100 packs in parallel if I recall electrical wiring correctly. It fits nicely in the handguard without difficulty. Its too much power though for stock. So I'll probably put a slightly stiffer spring in it to slow down the rotation of the
  2. I like it a lot. I put the polarized filter on it normally, and it works great. Also to protect it from stray BB's and other potentially damaging things in the field. Its quite nice to be honest. I got my Trijicon reflex sight used (quite heavily used at that), and its fantastic.
  3. My newest addition to my collection. Haven't fielded it yet, but it shoots quite nice.
  4. Yeah it looks that way in pictures, but for whatever reason, thats just the color of the pieces that are that color. Almost looks like there was paint or something sprayed on them... Maybe it was a release agent in the molds, or a high content of Iron Oxide in the steel when it was formed. Its got to be something to do with the casting process.
  5. I mean if price is your big deciding factor, the Unicorn is an option, but as far as I hear, the quality and fitment of the RMW are going to be top knotch and won't require near the amount of fitment. If you've always had your heart set on a RMW AK, then I'd say go for it, and don't get the clone. Cost of shipping to the USA was basically $200 for Unicorn AKS74. However, I bought it for the steel parts as if I were buying an Inokatsu kit, and I feel it was worth the $200 for just that.
  6. Yep, I searched for pics of the gun before I purchased it, but there were none to be found. Can hold a 9.6v 4/5A battery too, and space to spare in the rear for the plug and possibly a fuse if you want to use one. Did I mention its ALL STEEL? No pot metal other than my G&G gearbox I put in it. I don't recommend buying the Unicorn AKS74 if your not willing to put some time and effort into the gun. It is not one where you can take it out of the box and use it right then and there, it requires disassembly and reassembly and locktite on all of the screws. Here are some more pics for thos
  7. My Unicorn AKS74 I received yesterday. My own wood foregrips too, and they were constructed out of a block of Fir. Overall I'm pleasantly surprised in the quality of the steel parts for the gun. Took quite awhile to get it assembled to my standards, but after taking some time tweaking it, its solid now and I could definitely break down a door with the gun. Its all steel and weights quite a bit. My only complaint is the way the receiver was stamped, the fake bolt gets hung up when it hits a spot on its slide rail while pulling it half way back. And I know, I forgot to put the fake cleaning rod
  8. Ok finished the battery stock, because the first 1/2 of the gun looked so sharp, I had to make it look not so ghetto rigged with the taped battery, so I made my own stock now. Its not exactly the right shape or width as a real AKM/AK104 stock would be, but I built it with the consideration of housing an 8.4v large battery pack, which it does. Its an extremely tight fit, but it fits nonetheless.
  9. spb - Its a stock G&G Rk104 with a tightbore barrel. I added a non-folding composite aks74 style stock to it that I bought from a friend, and the place that used to sell/make them as far as I know went out of business so I'm not quite sure where to get them anymore brand new. It is meant for a real gun. And like I said before, that is my own crafted wood that I cut from a block of what I believe to be walnut. [bS] Mars - I have a leather sling I put around the stock, but just had it off at the time because I just put the foregrips on the gun. I need to get a green canvas one in the f
  10. My home-made handguards. Turned out alright and it saved me $40 for new ones. Plus it was a fun thing to do when your completely bored on a saturday night.
  11. The Elastics can be had on Ebay. Search for LBE bands, I think thats what they are called.
  12. My newest gun, and first good armalite. I'm likeing it a lot.
  13. Just put this stock on last night. I'm very pleased with the way it looks and feels, and it fit with no work except drilling the holes out a tiny bit. without battery With battery.
  14. Damn you Milla, Why do you have to have such a nice loadout that I now want to build? Jeez. Darn addictive hobby.... too bad I was told I'd get addicted when I started airsoft
  15. If you want something "pretty" that works in woodland, go for Flecktarn. Works great.
  16. I ordered it off of Cheaper than dirt. Its a great buy for the price. We shall see how durable it is though. Like everyone says, you get what you pay for, but sometimes there are exceptions. I like it a ton nonetheless. I got bored so I tried to portray a PMC somewhat with this not so great photoshop job of mine.
  17. Another shot of my G&G RK104 with 10 of my new 70rd Standard mags.
  18. My G&G RK104. I love the size and weight of it. Its as solid as I've felt before.
  19. I got the foregrip from Cheaperthandirt when they had it in stock back oh in April. If you wait long enough I'm sure it'll come back in stock, but there are other places you can buy it from. thespotsmanguide.com, you can buy the OD green and wood kit all at the same time. I don't know if they ship internationally for everyone elses sake, but I know they ship to the US. Good luck if you decide to go that route, the OD foregrip is very easy to comvert to fit. I repainted the foregrip and spray painted the stock and pistol grip Krylon Camouflage Fusion Olive paint. The Fusion sticks to plastic re
  20. My final G3 wood project. The 3rd version that my G3 has been and the final version, and the best version I might add!
  21. I've thought about getting some MC, but the woods here in Virginia are so damn thick and so green, that I feel it'd stick out like ACU would, but not quite that bad. And ACU sticks out pretty bad IMO. It would probably work great in the mountains here, its slightly more arid and has more tans and browns in the landscape rather than green everywhere. But when it comes down to it, I'm too cheap to buy MC and I like flecktarn better :-D
