  1. MINE MINE MINE, glad you like it, but I won't be parting with this little baby for a while.
  2. Added the Guarder Steel cocking handle to my Guarder AK74SU, god I love this gun, fixes the one major complaint I pointed out in my review I did for the site: Sorry for the flood of pics on this thread.

    M1a Scout

Looks great, very unique, I'm sure there will be conversion kits out to do the same thing very soon, but you're one of the first. I still despise those RAS' on the M14, but it's still a fantastic looking setup, from one tm m14 owner to another: THUMBS UP!
  4. Thank you, thank you, I'm glad the rifle worked out as well as it did. I had to shim up the rail to the handguard with a bit of good 'ol trusty electrical tape. Totally solid actually, feels super comfortable as well since as it was mentioned it serves dual purposes, light and vertical grip. A friend and fellow board member said that the Eotech makes targeting with the sight feel almost criminal in how easy and fast it was, with this setup it feels downright even, that and I can convert it back in only a few seconds.
  5. not to be captain obvious, but they do make XM8 airsoft kits, for a while now as well. mmmmkay....
  6. Updated M933 with Surefire M910A, using a GG&G UFIR rail:
  7. That's a great feature to have, what's the purpose of the trigger when you could just hit the gun to discharge it.
  8. heh, i'll let you know when mine arrives. I just went with the P114D-G.
  9. S3, got any info on this new eotech you speak of? Any help would be great.
  10. lol, I forgot I posted this almost a month ago in the other thread. Looks good spoon, I've seen that setup before somewhere, :-) Anyways, here's my current Eotech setup: Now bear with me, but I'm seriously tempted to do a setup like this using the Aimpoint 3x magnifier:
  11. It should fit it just fine. It's really the only option for the non-rail framed sigs, so yeah it's the only bad things about those guns, light mounting. I was bouncing around the idea of a Surefire M900A for my Colt M933, but that's a 450 dollar light as compared to a 230 dollar light. I'm just debating if it looks good and is practical.
  12. Thanks, appreciated. But I need your opinion, I'm thinking about getting a Surefire P114C: What do you guys think? Worth it? I'm limited in what I can put on my gun with no rails.
  13. OD, the checkering on the neck and the sides of the stock are great for grip.
  14. Here's what the gun came out looking like with the polished grip screws. Also as I mentioned in the thread about the PGC kits, is that WGC forgot my metal barrel and rear blade sight. I plan on getting those in a week or so. The blade sight I'm putting on the 2 tone Sig 226. As someone mentioned before its about being a perfectionist, and I was watching the season 1 dvd again and noticed that his gun had those sights. Yep, i'm a perfection slut. I gotta admit as nice as the PGC kit is, and it's a nice practical skirmish gun, I love the Jack Bauer freedom cannon the most.
  15. I guess TM wasn't kidding when they warned retailers about low stock on this gun. Better pics for those interested:
  16. The wood stock version, just like the fake plastic on the TM AK47, is just a little bit lacking up close. Beats me, I just painted mine recently.
  17. Better images of the paint job, thanks for the compliments:
  18. I'll post pics of the Jack Bauer SIG 226 tomorrow with the polished screws (those were a *badgeress* to polish) and my second 226 which will be using the PGC non-railed kit. I don't know what it is but I just hate the railed models.
  19. Oh it's not THAT BAD, well thanks guys, I'll put the cheek pad on it in a day or so when it's all dried.
  20. generally yeah, I was going for the browner look of the picture you showed me. But it's a bit darker, which works better in this area of California. Just need to get it setup for a few days to fully dry. But it feels good, the texture feels good in the hands. When it's fully dry I'll install the BHI cheek rest.
  21. Yeah it is too bad, trust me, for 150 a pop it's kindling now. At least I tried, and i know that a wood stock will come out soon enough, so we'll see. Oh trust me, I aint painting a 900+ dollar scope. Not on your life. So yeah I'm just going to paint the stock and handguard, easily swappable. I'm actually going to do the same paint scheme that you showed me, Silent Scope, nice and simple. When I get it done I'll be sure to send a pic.
  22. SS, it's bad, i.e unreparable. I think I'm just going to go tan and brown, should go great with my Tan STRIKE vest. I don't think I'll paint my Leupold Mark 4 scope however. I also think I'll leave the receiver and barrel unpainted. Whadda ya think?
  23. well just an update, I split the 150 dollar stock, whoopee. So I ask you, fellow airsofters, what would be a good camo pattern to paint my stock? Please give me a suggestion, I'm kinda thinking of something like: http://www.imageseek.com/karsten/gallery/a...om/Dsc01442.jpg But a bit darker.
