Find the size of the grips and a model they match to (i.e. Government or Officer 1911A1) then get a set of grips that will match that. Usually they will fit and if not will only require a little widening of the grip holes with a file. 'FireKnife'

Merely a well shot pic of my standard TM 1911A1 with the custom grips renegadecow made for us. And yup it's my primary. Not to add a stock MEU outer barrel, a Detonics safety and maybe a flat mainspring housing. Finally a new hop rubber for the win. 'FireKnife'

I have 2. One of which is approaching 22 we think, he is older than me. The other is a wimp and hides from anything and everything. You can one hand uncock the 1911A1 and MEU from Marui, simply rest the thumb on the face of the hammer and press back til it holds down the grip safety, pull trigger and let in gently go forward to the half cock position. As far as the safties and actions go it is TM that has all as far as i know. You can do it on WE's too i believe. 'FireKnife'

@gcorn. The silencer is a KA Delta one, about 110mm by 30mm as for the threaded barrel i am not 100% sure as it was bought second hand, but it may be either a Laylax or a TK. 'FireKnife'

Thought this would be best placed here. Does anyone have a picture of the custom 1911 that is used in MGS3, that is not being carried by Snake as i want to see what the frame looks like at the front, wether it is checkered like the MEU or smooth like a 1911A1, i am planning to make one but with an all black slide i just need to see what the frame is like.
