  1. I too had a pair of these when I went to Iraq. Hokus Pokus is right, they sucked. Hard. Mine were brand spanking new out of the box. They would not stop fogging, no matter what we put on them. Everything from dish soap to commercial products specifically for goggles. When I got home I tossed them in a deployment bag and haven't seen them since.
  2. The ACOG. THE iconic AR optic of the last 10 years. More so than any other AR specific optic, the ACOG has become synonomous with the AR-15 series of weapons carried by US military members. Along with RIS rails and PEQ laser units, ACOGs are seen on weapons from the shortest M4 to the lengthy SPR and SAM-R. According to the manufactuer, Trijicon Inc.: The ACOGs are internally-adjustable, compact telescopic sights with tritium illuminated reticle patterns for use in low light or at night. Bindon Aiming Concept (BAC)* models feature bright daytime reticles using fiber optics which collect
  3. TCB, not sure yet, but I got one of RSOV's new ones on the way right now. Standby for a day or two more and I'll throw up a short reveiw of it.
  4. Guiness, you still can! J/K, but I am looking to move it. I have yet to find the M249 upgrade tree, so I'm going to have to buy those upgrades.
  5. My humble addition to the thread. My weapon isn't as nice as some of the masterpieces here, and my photography skills are meager at best. This is my TM 1911 with Guarder Colt kit. I like it, nice and simple.
  6. I've got 3 ARs currently. JG M733, CA/TM M16a2 and a G&P/Systema SAM-R Its been a 10 months since I was in Iraq, but the M249 stocks discussed a few pages back were extremely popular, but hard to get. I saw several in PMC hands, 1 with a Marine PFC and several in Army hands. Everyone I talked to loved the stock though. The JG is getting a G&P M733 body and a 2roy M203, the SAM-R is getting a G&P FN receiver and the M16a2 is up for sale to help offset the M249 my wife doesn't know about yet.
  7. Tighten the delta ring. I really don't notice any wobble at all without the faux gas tube.
  8. I've managed to get a 9.6 2200 mah into mine. Remove the gas tube, place the fuse lateral to the barrel and it all fits nice. ROF is increased nicely.
  9. Eddie, it's definitly the picture. The TI 3000s and 1500s are pretty massive. And size really isn't everything. Considering the foam(410 gallons) and the dry chemical system(410 lbs) coupled with the snozzle and both handlines, we have the ability to provide a massive amount of coverage. And when you combine the 3000 with our two Osh Kosh P-23s with 3300 gallons each, we can easily handle anything upto a MD 1011, which we get here several times a week. Our mission mainly consists of dealing with F-16s, and if we can't handle an F-16 with 3000 gallons then we are very sorry indeed. Are you a
  10. She does 0-70 in about 85 seconds, carries 3000 gallons of water and the snozzle can extend 45 feet. Plus she has an engine the size of some of your cars. And I get to play with it every other day
  11. What is that FN thing exactly? It appears to be an AK with a BB gun stock put on the back...upside down.
  12. Desperate to plug the source of the stench, Sean takes matters into his own hands....
  13. Damnit Smith, get your ciggarette out of the rocket launcher! Now quit being a pansy and shoot!
