indeed. i cant be arsed to re-wire it, so im going to extend the wires out the back and use a battery sling, either pre-made or just bodge my current one up, which is more likely. i cant be dealing with mini batts, they do my head in. and this way i can still use a solid stock if i want, perhaps whenit is raining really badly, i can use the watertight solid stock, rather than the sponge like sling pouch.

thanks dude. most people on here managed to think screamin_weasel had painted a snake on his gun it wont be there for long unfortunately, i intend on doing that LR300 conversion. but i will keep the full stock for special occasions lol.

here is my one. i used to have a TM one, but sold it pretty quickly to get this one. its an ICS MP5SD5, completely stock other than what you see, and a TM hop rubber. and i got rid of that claw mount for the HurricanE mount . oh and im using MAG mid-caps with it now. i will try get some newer photos of all my guns on fridy, hopefully some nice arty well laid out ones, rather than the gash i usually post. should have an LR300 stock on it within a month, so ti will look like this (ignore the tigerstripe): cheers

dude. 3 things about your CAR-15 1. remove that minging paint job. 2. get some VN mags. i put an ICS mag in my CAR, and it looked pathetic. the mag is taller than the gun lol. 30 rnd mags just dont suit 3. you seem not to have the original flashider/silencer thing. this sucks. big time.

but in all seriousness, just how many times have you seen somebody come on and say "hi my names d1ck, im just starting airsoft" ? never. i bet FMJ and his scrapheap challenge thread is the only time somebody ahs tried to use d1ck in a name sense. you're all crying because you cant use d1ck as a name, but you never would anyways.

you have to use a rpoper UMG battery for the gun dude, like this one Battery. you can see what it is, so i wont bother explaining, but Static also has this battery in his review/thread about teh STAR one. you really need to fire it. i aksed about the sound because i skirmished with a guy who had the STAR one at the weekend, and with the silencer on it was VERY quiet - im talking the quietest AEG i have ever heard. it was awesome. this is the overall factor in which one i eventually buy. if the G&G is as quiet, thats the one im getting. i would rather have the power and backu

just to say. yesterday i skirmished with a guy who had a STAR UMP. i drooled. profusely. i was very impressed, and it has now jumped to the top of my 'will buy' list, just after i get my AK and DE.

OK. systema, sorry dude but your CAR looks like somebody puked on it. you need to be removing that 'paintjob' ASAP dude. i used mine today for the first time, and it was a *fruitcage* beast. chronod at 320 consistently, and i got a whole load of kills. it took mr NO TIME to get used to it, it just effortlessly happened. awesome. money well spent.

yep a retractable, small size full stock. its not full M16 sized, but it is solid, and sliding. as far as i know, the only model too have it, which makes me happy its nice to see my gun has provoked so many good reactions aswell.

im loving the amount of BB's on the floor lol - looks like the inside of my bag. good to see you got yoru 249 dude, join the club. be prepared to buy LOTS of ammo, you wotn be able to waste it like you do now, leaving it on the floor. in fact, pick them up, you will need them

yeah i love the CAR-15 - its very heavy considering its smaller than my MP5, tis really nice. the M79 is wood, its battered, and its a bit dark when i took the photos. check out the picture thread "latest acquisitions" for close-ups of the newbie guns

i never said thanks for getting me those measurements evilhippy. unfortunately however telling me the measurements has just persuaded me to spend more money on that madbull launcher, and that it WILL look good on the front of my MP5SD5.

hhmmm i cant wait until next month when i order my metal and wood AK. then i can join your club woohoowoohooowoohooo. where do you get all the funky looking stocks and stuff? i assume all the folding types (real and replica) only fit the AK47-S body? only it would be nice if i could swap between my wooden stock and a folder every now and then.

these guns would almost be attractive to me if it wasn't for that butt-ugly lump sticking out the bottom of the grip. still, i think the hi-capa is the best base for custom modding, and it seems from this thread im right.
