  1. I think we have to be careful with taking "politically correct" too far !
  2. it is the CQB front end on the MP5k I do have a nice digicam somewhere but after buying all that kit do you think I could afford batteries for the camera ? actually the pic was originally taken to prove how this room should look after I tidied it as I was getting fed up with it being left in a mess. Therefore it wasn't intended for publications
  3. yep , get used to seeing lots of that very soon
  4. not at the same time but yes , all of them are servicable and do get used at some point or other
  5. not so much "weapon" as "weaponS" this is one corner of my Armoury room The rest of the room can be viewed here
  6. I think that is probably the light reflecting of the two differant materials
  7. the Acog worked really well
  8. for now they are the only companies producing a skirmishable L85 AEG there are a great many threads on the subject on these forums ,may I suggest you use the search function to save de-railing this thread with posts that have been typed before
  9. I was going to wait for the G&G Susat (which is due in the next few weeks ) but decided to pick up an Acog anyway , only to get confirmation that a load of Acog units have just been delivered to some regiments for use on the L85-A2 . I guess that is timing for you I agree Gadge ,4x is way too powerful for airsoft , especially on an AEG which drops short before reaching the begining of the effective range for a 4x scope Red dots or scopes up to 2.5X mag are perfect unless its for an upgraded sniper rifle with all the bits.
  10. I was lucky as mine went straight on and required only minor zeroing too
  11. That's because you have those horrid rail adapters why have you got that ?
  12. MightyJebus - nice tosee one of those old Alpha Spetsnaz' in such great condition ! Was it boxed and complete etc ?
  13. I agree with Snowman ,it should be kept for important things such as sales only as the way it is just promotes bullying or fanboy-ism If it were used for sales and the rep reflected sales record it would help prevent many of the scammers currently seen in the Sales area now ! At the moment there is no good way of checking someones sales record as you have to sift through pages of "you am great because you live near me and I worship you" or " you am the sux because you not the IN crowd". This means that no one really looks for someones sales record when buying/selling and hence the p
  14. No they are still too busy churning out yet more Armalites all we have off them is the poor CAD image that they initially released
  15. absolute rubbish ,I have aegs with very long barrels firing above 328 fps quite happily with only a spring change and some metal bushings/bearings. If you want to be really sure then fit a good piston head/o ring, bearinged spring guide and teflon the cylinder head. Bore up kits give very little performance differance and are completely pointless unless you have exploited all the other easier/cheaper ways of gaining power at which level you will be at a power unsuitable for skirmishing anyway (and illegal in the UK) I have in the past built a training rifle(aeg) firing 485 fps without th
  16. just a couple of pics with the ACOG attached
  17. Courtesy of my Polish friend .................. my new user bar
  18. sorry but what have ICS been innovative with ? and I mean gun wise
  19. aye ,I have noticed the distinct amount of rubbish posted during the early hours. I guess not many users have to be awake like I do each night (working) and therefore don't sit around browsing the forums all night
  20. do you want to drop the personal insults little boy ? I was merely asking and you return with insults ! If you paid £260 that is your fault as the general retail price is £220 which is only £30 more than the TM for a metal body and 1 piece metal front end with glass fiber furniture. If you think ICS would have made it perfect you really haven't had much experience with them , they are far from perfect. I'm sorry that you appear to have had problems and it is not right although after spending £260 I would have sent it back instead of taking it apart if it was that bad !
  21. except for the fact that the TM creaks, flexes, wobbles ,has a standard 6mm nylon bushing box instead of the 7mm bearing box with upgrades and has awful plastic furniture for around the same price ? I'm just wondering why you bought this gun if you were stripping it and removing the gearbox and lower reciever anyway ?
  22. Guzzihero - CA do not need to adhere to Japanese laws because they are a Hong Kong company ! the CQB Compact series are just supplied with softer springs ,probably due to the nature of the combat they were designed for . Nice mini-review chap ,as a side note I should point out that if users do not want to use a scope it is quite easy to remove the cheek rest as it should only be stuck on with double sided stickie tape ! I for one have never liked the SG1 cheek rest even when using a scope and therefore always remove them.
  23. the USP series was terrible but the Sig has been nothing short of superb
