  1. I just ordered a Pro Win chamber and Prometheus 6.03 EG barrel for my SR-635. Will post my findings here. At first, I will be using some stock buckings (VFC and green G&G) to fiddle around with an R-Hop build, and finally move onto a Prometheus Soft (Purple) once I get comfortable. -Ex

  3. VFCs take Mil-Spec stocks. I have an RS MOE on my 635. -Ex
  4. I never would have guessed Hong Kong! Could you be more specific? I'm scared to order one myself. I don't want to share my nice trademarks with customs. -Ex
  5. SOUTHPAWMIKE, I hate you. Where did you order the master blaster from? -Ex
  6. Well, these are stretchy fabric(better fitment for the helmet) and have velcro sewn onto them that also shares the Multicam pattern. That's something you don't see everyday. Also cut to allow use of the NVG mount without modification. -Ex
  7. I think the fabric colors look a lot better than the dipped pattern. Also allows your helmet to change color/hue/shade with your uniform when things get wet. Something a painted/dipped helmet will not do. Then, there's those of us who don't want to buy multiple helmets to wear with different color uniforms. A lot of events have a tan vs green and enforce headgear colors to match that of the uniform. This way, you can have your green color painted helmet and run a cover when you're put on the tan side. -Ex
  8. I think you're right about that. Have some PMAGs on the way. I think it's because I don't have the smallest(B1) backstrap for the MIAD yet. It was missing from my set and is being shipped to me currently. I tried running the PDW grip, but once the PMAGs come in, they will dwarf the hell out of that little grip. I'm also wanting to run a more powerful motor and don't want to deal with tracking down a medium motor and then swapping the bearing from the stock motor over to the other. It's looking better in this config: -Ex
  9. What have I done... Looked better in my mind. -Ex
  10. Quite. Perfect sized SBR for me, though I do want to pick up a VFC MK18 Mod 1 in FDE. The PDW grip is quite comfortable and find myself wanting to keep it on there, but at the same time I want to run a snappier motor. So, I've modified a G&P A2 grip by removing the finger nub. Not sure I'm sold on the idea yet. Thoughts? -Ex
  11. Pretty sure Crye was only backordered until February. -Ex

  14. I believe Camelbak makes a 50oz that fits. -Ex
  15. I imagine products like that are less course. Back when I used to skate, I used to tear my thumbs to hell the first few days after getting my decks re-gripped. It's rough stuff for a reason. I wouldn't want to slide my magazines across it, that's for sure. -Ex
  16. It's going to scratch the hell out of your mags. Grip tape is nothing more than an adhesive-backed course sandpaper. -Ex
  17. Hey guys, this is my first cool guy helmet so I have no idea what to do next. Suggestions? Thanks, Ex
  18. Are you sure they actually use medium-type motors? I was under the impression that the motors used in the PDW grips were fairly proprietary. I'm also not sure how modding the grip to fit a large motor would work. I know you can just swap the grip and motor out for standard AR grip with long-type motor. Though, if there is a way to use a PDW-type grip with a long motor, I would be interested to find out.. -Ex
