  3. What front sight is that?
  4. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

    *huggiez*

  5. If I was them I wouldn't pull over someone with a pintle mounted M60 and a pintle mounted M2 either.
  6. at least she left in the presence of her loved ones. If it was peaceful and she had a ripe long life, then there is some comfort in that. I'm saving her picture, she looked so wise and kindly.
  7. Noooooooo.. Bye honest kitteh I hope that at least she didn't run away to die somewhere obscure. They love to do that, I don't know why
  8. Sorry Kipper you're wrong. Heres the various RDS and reflex sights I own. Non of them perform like the ARES MARS. To put it bluntly, the ARES MARS sight is DIRE for something that cost that much. The point of aim should NOT move since the gun has not moved. That the ARES MARS moves all over the place when the camera moves means they've designed it like some cheap 5 quid toy. I dunno what was "stupid" about the test?
  9. Aww ok Ironwolf: Thanks for helping me split it into a proper thread. Much appreciated
  10. Yes, completely stock TM conscript: im sure with the stock folded the scope's longer than the gun!
  11. Schneiderboy: very cool pics. I like the loadouts, esp the guy with the beret.
  12. what... what slide is that! Would it fit a KSC G23F? I'm looking to refurbish my Glock 23 as i mentioned in my thread. I've managed to locate a magazine base cap and a hurricane enhanced recoil spring as you can see in the picture. I've got a KSC metal slide and outer barrel on the way, but I like the brushed steel look of that slide. Sigh. It's a custom job isn't it? IronWolf: Moved previous post into its own thread in the Just Handguns sub-forum & updated current post to reflect the move. A link can be found here.
  13. Another addition to the Sig family!
  14. u'd have to 1 point sling that cuz theres no way in hell u ever gonna be able to draw that from a holster
  15. Thanks Rich Kungfuchopsticks: As was mentioned, the P229's grips are wider, although I find that the gun sits more comfortably in my hand than my USP .45. I find there is little difference between the P226's grips and the P229's grips, so maybe the reason it doesnt feel right in Rich's hands is because the P229's grips are straight at the bottom, while the P226's has a outward curve.
  16. as has been mentioned on quite a lot of other threads about the ARMY MEU, a 150% guarder recoil spring will really work wonders.
  17. It's not even "not that great". More like, it's been designed like a cheap child's toy and without any consideration for actual use for aiming. i.e. completely useless. This video explains it all
  18. Omg I see a USP in the background. We're long lost twins! Proof:
  19. Finally! I picked up some real steel Hogue grips for the P228/229 for cheap. My dremel finally arrived today and I've fitted them onto my P229. The only slight complaint I have is that the grips were meant for the non-railed 228/229 lower frame, while mine is the railed lower frame P229 so there is a tiny bit at the back where the grip doesn't match the shape of the frame. However I'm pleased with this simple mod, it really makes the gun look great and better to hold. Here I've laid out the real steel Hogue grips on the left and the stock KJW plastic grips on the right. One of the Hog
  20. Someone had an actual cheap chinese plastic unadjustable red dot cross sight on his Tar 21. Ironic that a cheap plastic chinese *suitcase* RDCS is still better than an expensive stock sight that comes with a STAR/ARES product. In the spirit of the thread, I've joined the club.
