  1. At least get rid of the sticker.
  2. Evil, MG42. The FG42 was the German WW2 para assault rifle.
  3. Get some of the web loops that fasten to the rear harness bolts. All they are is some webbing about 12cm long folded in half then a hole punched through the loose ends and the helmet fixing bolt threaded through them. You could make them yourself.
  4. The difference between the RPK and RPK-74 is that the RPK is based on the AK47 or AKM, depending on age, and the RPK-74 is based on the AK74. Different eras, different ammunition. They're different!
  5. So that they blend in with Army units when on co-ops and can't be picked out by the enemy so easily.
  6. As I said, whenever that was, it is the two parts wearing against one another. This is cr#p metal, very soft and wears out in five minutes, leaving you with a black oily sludge. As Pzh2000 said, it is normal and not avoidable - depending how much oil you put on. Rule: If there is excess coming out of the gun, or anything, then you've put too much on.
  7. You could make one of them in your garage. You could probably get most of the stuff as real steel, minus the barrel.
  8. Tanfoglio Limited Custom? Going by the Italian on the stand.
  9. Not really. Only thing I can think of is if you have, on the back of the upper receiver(under the charging handle), lips that hook under the top inside edge of the lower receiver then it might be possible to glue some slithers of plastic(credit card, aeg packaging plastic etc). This would force the upper and lower to be forced together somewhat - in theory.
  10. Have they got rid of the hideous gap between the upper and lower receiver?
  11. That's not an Inova unless they have changed the styling.
  12. From what I've seen aftermarket hi-flow valves are near useless on a P226 because the exit port on the valve is as large, or as near to, as the exit port on the mag, therefore, even if you had the biggest opening on the valve(or no valve at all) you still wouldn't have any more gas flow. Unless hi-flow valves actually have a bigger bore for the valve piston, of which my Mk23 valve's don't and I doubt others do, then a hi-valve in a P226 will have little value. You'd be better off saving £25 or so and getting your Dremel and opening up the valve port as much as possible and smoothing out the
  13. I think you'll find it is simply the white metal(depending on make) wearing and forming into solution with the oil. It doesn't come out silvery/grey, as you might think, but black and will seep out naturally with any excess oil. Alternatively, it could be the remains of emery paper particulates which are usually grey/black in colour and if they have not been washed away will definately stain any oil and won't be good for wear and tear in the gun. Best thing is to wash any metal parts and rails down with petrol, dry off and re-oil and see what happens. I bet, however, you will still get
  14. It's that Miki bas##rd, the same motherfu##er who runs Tokyo Hobby. Stay well away. http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...ic=2570&hl=miki
  15. You can't beat an FG42 Model 1 rifle. Plus a G/K43, possibly in gas, would be nice as well. Of course both in full metal and with scopes.
  16. That's an M4's sling bracket pins(roll pins) your thinking of not the foresight pins.
  17. Fantastic! Please provide more info on the colour differences of the slide pin(in grab serrations) and what appears to be a real screw for the trigger albeit a different colour. How did you achieve this?
  18. Trigger - self made from the original or short pull version? Black slide pin? Well defined trigger screw and slight perceived colour difference? More pronounced dome on the take down lever rivet? Black extractor(no biggy) but the plunger? Very interesting piece and certainly looks the business.
  19. Is that real steel as everything looks a little too well refined to be airsoft?
  20. Field stripped Bren and markings.
  21. There ain't nowt wrong with an U.N.C.L.E. Special!
  22. I concur with it being an Action model. Note that the frame and receiver are cast and the trigger screw is very malformed, plus the screwdriver slot is vertical which I have not seen on any other manufacturer: http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...22603_srch_p226 Strange that he said he got it from Airsoft War4 because I can't find any mention of 'Action' when I do a search.
  23. Nope, not here, and I've used Green, pure Propane the lot.
