Here's my latest build - a chopped Aussie 'B!tch' complete with another set of real SLR wood furniture and a green Australian carry handle

I hate the fact that the wife can't take the first parking space at the supermarket. We have to cruise round like a curb crawler looking for a tom until we find a space that's a7.5 seconds shorter walk to the store...meh Oh and re my previous rant, thats what 4 x 15 hour days on the bounce does to you...sorry if it caused offence.

Jesus wept. Life doesnt owe you anything!! Go to an ex poly, get a humanities desmond, then enter the real world and pay off your loans when you get a decent job. That's what I did. If everyone feels that they are owed a degree then surely having one becomes watered down. I didn't get a grant, I held down a job and joined the TA and still got a qualification. Stop whining, grow up and enjoy the students union without smashing things up. Cunch of bunts.

I feel sorry for the TSG (never, ever thought i'd say that) who clearly are being restricted in their tactical options. That as well as the fact there were level 3 serials that shouldn't have been anywhere near the 'front line' smells of a balls up to me...

Making the mistake of going to a rifle club last Sunday and blatting away with a .22 semi auto m4, Winchester .44, straight pull 5.56 AR, great war smle, AI and numerous other lovely rifles, then going home and looking at my expensive airsoft toys and wondering why I made the mistake of giving up RS target shooting in the first place. Guess it'll be a FAC then perhaps a straight pull L1a1 for me!!

Our Humane Raping services have just launched a seemlingly duplo lego themed patronising website called 'people pages.' Now they can now screw with our careers from afar without having to speak to real people. a pox upon them.

The KA was already wearing the wood when I purchased it. However I'm led to believe that it's a much easier job to fit the stock. However it will still need to be hollowed out as for my Star build. The pistol grips on both AEGs are the plastic ones that came with the rifle. They have just be filed down and painted to look like wood - the realgrip can't be hollowed out for the motor. Both the stock and pistol grip are covered in my projects thread if you are interested in finding out more.

Star (Aussie/early Brit 3 hole) and KA (British fore grip) SLR fitted with genuine wood furniture & slings. ALL you ever add to need to an inch rifle And before... In the Project section of the boards I have a thread about the joys of fitting wood to a STAR L1a1 regards Red

Thanks Grim I got VERY lucky with the 58 stuff - a chap I know off the forums sold me 2 SLR drop pouches and the E&E for about 30 quid!!!!! Had to do a bit of cleaning / restoration work on them though. One of the drop ammo pouches has been given to a team member - so the webbing in the pics consists of 1 x 58 Drop SLR ammo pouch with old style large FFD 1 x 44 Water bottle pouch with 58 patt bottle 1 x 58 Drop E&E pouch 1 x 44 Water bottle pouch with 58 Pattern bottle 1 x 58 Compass pouch 1 x 58 Utility pouch The above are all mounted on a 58 Yoke and belt with 44 brace attachments. The Radio is a Clansman PRC349. The AEG is a Star L1a1 SLR. The rest of the gear is an old scrim, early DPM Para Smock and 80's lightweights & comedy black tea cosy (Mick Belker hat.) The 44 pattern covers were totally trashed when I got hold of them - they cost me about a fiver each - but I spent hours sewing them back together. Along with my Aussie Nam webbing - this set of belt kit has cost me the most in time and bleeding fingers from restoration work!!! The 'utility' pouch is actually a 58 large pack side pocket - that has been removed and had a belt mount put on the rear - this came from my Father's equipment from the early 80's in Oman (SOAF.)

Schultz - looking very good mate! But I have to counter your ramapant 'Eastern-ness' (made up word of the day!) with some British grit

I agree with the other guys, sounds like a trip to the garage may be in order. We have no such problems with our 04 Clio...Best of luck
