I completely agree with you, but you have to look at this from a company's point of view. How many people will buy such a conversion kit? What if everyone had one? Then what? WE keeps producing open bolts anyway so no need to keep on manufactoring them. WE won't make as much of a profit of selling converion kits as they would by just producing open bolt platforms.
