  1. I love my Cryo, especially without the snaggy thumb studs:
  2. That's my Marui Hardkick on the right.
  3. I prefer the Ignitor for the improved contrast. They're about the same light transmission level as the shaded, which to me is too dark for indoor/outdoor transitions. I'm just really spoiled by the practically perfect rose copper ESS lenses. I'd like to try the LOPRO regulator, but they look a little tall to fit between my helmet and mesh mask. I haven't used any antifog, but haven't had any issues since I started wearing them slightly looser. Maybe I'll try some notches in the foam too. How about one of these? http://www.actionfans.net/
  4. My Boogies only rode up when I wore them with a cap. A helmet puts a stop to that, and with the Velcro/shock cord straps I can even let them sit a little loose to help with comfort/fogging. My only wish would be a non-mirrored and less tinted version of the Ignitor lens--it's way too dark for MOUT.
  5. Smith came out with an Asian fit version a couple months ago; saw it somewhere else but this is all that popped up on Google: http://www.airsoftextreme.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=254_671&products_id=6798
  6. It looks homemade (and awesome). Spartan Airsoft sells this fancy one.

    It's 8-32x zoom though--pretty ambitious for airsoft.

I bought the cheapest ACM M1 I could find, and it's been great. Too bad no one's made a replica gold "L" button for them yet. Here's a "big" scope for you: http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?products_id=5640
  9. That's what I meant; green is much more useful and the G&P visible laser is red. Drake, how about one of these: http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/catalog/product/view/_ignore_category/1/id/25573/s/spartan-airsoft-m4-cqbr-m203-mount-specification-w-m433-dummy-grenade/
  10. I would've got a G&P DBAL if the visible laser was green, or stuffed a green diode into one if it was cheaper.
  11. That's true. I decided on a DBAL for mine, but never finished it:
  12. Keep it BLACK! What's the tape on the PEQ-15 for?
  13. Those Smith Boogie goggles come with a rubber strap, but they sell a shock cord/Velcro strap that includes posts for ARC rails. It looks like Yellowstar modded his straps a little.
  14. On a somewhat related note, my Cyma MP5K (non EBB) has a sort of recoil, caused by the piston slamming violently into the cylinder head I assume. It's the only AEG I've ever fired that does this, and everyone who's tried it agrees that it's pretty fun to shoot.
  15. I took a few photos of my Triumph today, since it's about time I sold it. It's 88°F outside--I was sweating all over the vinyl!
  16. It's fake, and the only one available is a cheap battery box of far lower quality than my old Pro-T PEQ-15. I bodged in a green laser module from DX and an Insight pressure switch. I'd be pretty surprised to see a civvy with a real one.
  17. It's AG-K, eye relief is around 3", and there is a slight vertical POI shift. I'm fairly happy with it, but if you're going to mount a Docter (and don't mind the high cheek weld) you might as well get the AG-K 4x only model. Also, the illuminated reticle isn't great. At a recent night game, I eventually turned it off since even at the lowest setting it was washing out the FOV of the scope too much. My new LA-5/PEQ was awesome though:
  18. Lots of changes; I think it's finally done.

Thanks! I stated my views on what makes a DMR (and coincidentally, what is accepted as a DMR under my team's rules for hosted games), but if you can't beat em.... I'd like to, but my girlfriend is using it to vacuum my drapes. Arrow Dynamic Classic and A&K are the same company, that's just the name they sell spare parts under. Here's the same part at Gunner: http://www.gunnerairsoft.com/online/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=488 You're better off finding a used/broken A&K SR-25, which shouldn't be too difficult.
  20. Not at all; I don't have a surface thermometer, but while painful to handle with bare hands the Kydex is not hot enough to cause a burn when fresh out of the oven. It's molded to the knife in a press, and doesn't transfer much heat to it since it cools rapidly.

    WE XDM

I'm eyballing that NOVA Ti slide myself; curious to see if it installs easily on the WE since someone mentioned that the Marui slide wouldn't fit his gun.
  22. Thanks. It's a Shellback belt and a Cold Steel rubber Recon Tanto in a homemade sheath.

I get the distinct feeling that I'm feeding a troll, but since you're trying to use geography to justify stupidity I'll type a few lines in defense of American airsoft. I play milsim airsoft in multiple states at well organized private games on private land, large commercial multi-day events like OPLC, and occasionally at commercial fields or smaller "pickup" games with a casual atmosphere. At any of these games, "bleeders", bad welts, or shot out teeth are a rare and preventable event caused by: 1. Accidents--like shooting someone out of a rifle's established MED or shots fired at bare
