    - "G Hop" unit built, and in the XM177... No jams after 400 rounds. Torchlight shows a pretty straight line, but i can't see the range. Now to wait for daylight..

      What weight BB's were you using? I'm going to try this out when I get a new barrel for my G3. Going to try get it working with .3's using a 350fps with .2's setup.

      Am very interested with results - especially now that blaster heavy BB's are quite cheap..

       

      How are you gluing the rubber down? Hot glue or super glue or what? And did you glue the plastic square to the bucking?

       

      And now I shall stop my questions :P

      Using .28's at the moment - Glued the rubber down with standard loctite, holds fast. I glued the plastic square to the rubber covering the hop window, then put the bucking over that... It's starting to seem like this is going to take a *lot* of trial and error.

    Yeah, sorry, might have gone off on one slightly there! Basically what i mean to say is a Mosfet is a good idea in the long run, i can't really argue against that... I just tend to think of them as something else to go wrong and take up space in the buffer tube. They will undoubtedly help to preserve parts, but i don't think they're not quite the magic bullet everyone makes them out to be in a stock gun. I guess it just irks me a little that people act as if i've forgotten to put BB's in my mags when i tell them i don't bother with mosfets. Personally i'd rather have a gun that lasts 150,

    People will probably come to my house and cut me for saying this, but i've never felt the need for a MOSFET. My MRP isn't far off of 100k rounds, and the trigger response from the 7.4 lipo i use it in is as good as it was on day 1. Same with my XM177 and M4A1, which are a little newer but the M4A1 is almost at 50k rounds. Then again, i'm very much a 'not broken, don't fix it' kinda guy... I'm sure deans connectors, a mosfet, an 11.1, short stroked swiss-cheese piston, RiotSC gears and all that would improve my trigger response by 7 individual 100th's of a second... But it'd also cost half

    Any idea if it takes a nineball hop rubber or standard TM compatible tightbores? Should have mine here on Friday or Saturday, will add my thoughts. Looks awesome, as per usual with TM's pistols.

    Unless someone's a complete idiot, they'll be growing dust on shelves for the rest of forever. Really don't know why Wolf bothered with these; Far as i'm aware it's just Steel outer barrel and a few other bits, chrome lined gearbox and the M160. Maybe, and even then it's a big maybe they'd be worth it if you were building a super high rof monster gun - But for the UK, there's simply no need for them. The G&P standard gearbox will do everything you need it to do really... I'd be shocked if anyone buys one at that price.

    Hopefully they're busy making the Car-15/Colt 607 already... So who makes the upper on your MRP GBBR build, i'm guessing Prime? I've seen the Bomber/G&P one on G&P's website... if only i understood GBBR's/wasn't poor..

    It's a STAR LE Compensator, whatever that may be a replica of... http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/star-le-compensator-flash-hider-14mm-positive.html I thought it went quite well with the TRX, what with the holes. Also, bladerunner; they're both piles of awesome.

    The bottom one is a comfort thing, but the 3 on the top i'm still deciding as to wether i like them or not... They kind of add a bit of colour when i'm holding the thing. Might change them over for ladders eventually, although i reckon they'd be FG ones...
