    Has anyone ever used a Bowman radio? Seeing tons of them on eBay, and wondering why I never see them at skirmishes.

      Specifically talking about the PRR and EZ-PRR, not the vehicle ones. These things are everywhere; how come nobody's using them?

      I think most poeple use baofangs, since they are super cheap and do the job pretty well! Atleast here in canada.

      Yeah, I have a Baofeng (BF-888S) and it works fine - just wondering why people aren't using the Bowmans, which aren't particularly expensive (~£50) and obviously are much, much tougher and more advanced.
