  1. I really don't see the problem here. The whole point of the pictures subforum was because those threads were cluttering up General Discussion. I don't think it was ever supposed to consist SOLELY of pictures. And how hard is it to scroll down a page and go "Nope, no pictures here"?
  2. Still can't see that working. Any externally hosted image wouldn't show up, surely?
  3. These knives are all well and good, but it struck me recently that there is a glaring hole in my armoury. What would I use in the event of vampire attack? Why, one of these:
  4. If people make their titles relevant, instead of the Times crossword clue style presently in vogue, it's not needed.
  5. I've done a fair bit of playing around with HFC and TM Glocks (apart from the TM 17, of course). The mags SHOULD be compatible, but I wouldn't want to say for certain until I've tried it.
  6. Put together a shipment, I'm sure there'd be a demand in the UK. Nerf guns only event at next AG?
  7. More likely to be HFC ones. The HFC G17 is based on the TM G26, just with a longer slide and grip. And I think TM G26 Advance mags were 17 sized.
  8. Just as the CRKT Sting. Lucked out with mine off ebay. Sheaths pretty handy as well, can use it on a belt, strapped to your arm or leg, or mount it to gear.
  9. WE 1911. Removed the (IMO) rather naff grips and replaced with a rubber set. Also had room to add a couple of small weights, adding about 100g. Knife is my new CRKT Sting, and the reason I took the photo.
  10. Tanaka S&W M29 4 inch, alongside my new CRKT Sting:
  11. John Thomas Rourke carried only the finest weapons. As far as pistols went, he routinely carried a pair of Detonics Combat Masters. Later, a pair of Detonics Score Masters were added. He also carried Colt and S&W .357 and .44 Magnum revolvers. In bladed weaponary, he carried a custom made Crain Life Support System X 12 inch Bowie knife. But for a smaller, concealable blade, he trusted only one knife: the A.G. Russell Sting IA Black Chrome. Sadly, the cost of one of these now makes it unlikely I will own one. However, Columbia River Knives and Tools make an authorised copy. And here is it:
  12. Indeed. Funny how the complaints always seem to come from people saying "I don't care about the rep system, but..."
  13. I'll need to think about that. "A little ride on a bike. Robin's head on a pike." Could work. Which Robin we talking about?
  14. A little song, a little dance. Batman's head on a lance.
  15. And because he touches himself at night.
  16. Your computer skills must be very advanced for your age.
  17. I think I might -1 the next example of this faggotry I see. Anyhoo, found a use for neutral reps: great way to respond to stuff in the Humour section that is just alright.
  18. Like I said, at the moment we have the best of both worlds. If you prefer the ASCUK-style layout, or you want to auction something, you can use the new system. For those of us who prefer the old layout/approach, the Sales forums are still there. Everybody's happy.
  19. I'm not just a pretty face.
  20. Maybe a poll on the subject would be worthwhile? Anyway, it seems with the auction system, we've now got both approaches anyway, so why not let the two co-exist, and people can use what they're most comfortable with?
  21. I have no particular feelings about Doc's post. If I leave him a -1, could someone immediately leave him a +1 so it will have the effect of a neutral rep point?
  22. What, like, oh I don't know... posting in the relevant thread?
  23. So this would be a system for saying "I do not feel this persons post is worthy of praise or criticism"?
