  1. Yeah the ASAP for GBB definitely works.. although looking at it in hindsight perhaps the real one would have worked with even less modding, they're practically the same price . A file would do the job, or dremel if you got one as pointed out. (although, mine is front wired, so you'd have to take a little more off for the wires)
  2. Now I don't believe you've actually got 57 pistols FireKnife ...
  3. Hey, GHK AKs and the new G5 are the most cool down resistant guns I've owned and oh look, bankz dissing VFC on a VFC thread once again, awesome.
  4. I just can't give up on VFC GBBs... they look too good... and since for me the hobby of airsoft consist of 30% modding guns, 30% shopping, 39% looking cool and 1% playing in games... it seems to make sense to get one after this review... I might just wait for 3rd part gas route buckings to be released before I buy it, that or higher capacity magazines as well, if KWA Kriss can fit 50rd in their mags, they must be able to do it with this one way or another. *please post a video of this working in full auto after the fixes? Thanks!
  5. it's a pretty niche model irl..
  6. Well the wood of the VSS doesn't bother me, too light is better than too dark... nothing a little refinishing can't do to make it more authentic strange though since NPO has access to real ones, would have thought they'd pick a darker wood.
  7. I happen to have both the TM mp7 gbb and the Kriss.... and you've already made the correct choice out of the two imo... I wish I never bought the Kriss, aside from two round burst failure inevitability.. the mags are very heavy, does not handle cool down well, and my loading nozzle broke on its first day, bought a replacement nozzle which is scarce, and every now and then it fails to fully return to battery, all these issues (apart from mag weight) are fixable... but I'd save my money and get something else if I were you.
  8. Really..? you're 20 days late...
  9. Dude, are you trying to give me a heart attack, thankfully I obsessed over it and found an image of a RS with the rail VFC was replicating.. http://www.heckler-koch.com/en/military/products/assault-rifles/g36/g36c/overview.html although now they've replaced it with that... it's like in between that old one and this new one...
  10. Sorry for the bad quality image... but anyway... TM next-gen G36K with G36 dedicated Surefire handguard, VFC top rail and an L3 Eotech 512
  11. Even though I front wired my SOPMOD to a PEQ to allow for slimmer stocks, a friend recently bought a TM HK416, made this for him out of my old and un-used quick change battery and it works great! and I'd like to thank Richard of Eagle6 for the idea! I do have to add... it wasn't fun making it fit.
  12. Yey me too, but I got the Troy TRX instead... I liked the PEQ setup quite a lot more after I switched, a lot less rear heavy with the recoil weight and batteries all at the back!
  13. So they make a lot of steel parts... sell a lot of steel parts... and some people have great experience with their steel parts... but they shouldn't be installed because Bankz5152 says so... sure, I'll email them now and tell them to close up, their existence is pointless.
  14. RA-Tech disagrees
  15. Where as plastic nozzle can break on its first magazine like mine...
  16. Very nice, which brand KAC rail is that? Please tell me it's the real one.
  17. You need to put a silencer on it with mp5 ris clamps with a torch on it..
  18. This might a few people off but make a few interested party quite happy... wgc is currently doing a $230 pre-order for the next batch of next-gen AKs74u... just saw it... insane...
  19. Renegadecow you are amazing..!That SKS...! So you're basically using 30 round magazines by inserting the Marui shells? I'm daydreaming of one day owning a SKS-M based on GHK gbb internals... I assume you have a pretty established DIY workshop at home?
  20. It'd probably be similar finish to that steel gas block as seen on that thread, which has a matt black electroplating finish, but I can't say I'd be producing more than half a dozen, it's mainly for myself and someone who can help
