Clastyclay
Hi there, I found this video on youtube: How did they realise this modification? The user did not answer mails!
BaggyPants
Most airsoft M4s do that
Clastyclay
Uh yea ... that helps ... my Ca M15A4 doesn't do it
1st_shooter
ohhh the dust cover moves... amazing Its true most m4 chargin handles do actualy move and release the dust cover. My old CA m4 carbine did.....
Clastyclay
I know, that is not a big thing ... but I want this feature ... and it is actually possible (as you can see on the vid) Edit: Could this kit fit? http://www.uncompany.com/pageproductdetails.asp?prodid=3470 Edit2: Could a D'boys metal body fit on the CA? Does the body have the same quality?
terrorist killer
Most M4s and M16's not the CA or G&G ones iirc and it doesn't have the CA body it has a HK416 body because the SAFE, SEMI and AUTO are in HK style that's why he can work the charging handle It might be also be a dboys body but I doubt it
Clastyclay
Damn ... hm ok ... second question: Could a D'boys/Boyi metal body fit on the CA gearbox without modifications? These bodies are extremly cheap!
DesertFoxRomel
and it doesn't have the CA body it has a HK416 body because the SAFE, SEMI and AUTO are in HK style The markings of that M4 is defiantly a M15 with Armalite trades. The selector has written out markings rather than HK picture markings, and the right side of the mag has text saying "Armalite". M15A4 CQBR, look at the first pic http://www.airsoftretreat.com/reviews/show...t=14&cat=
Clastyclay
The M15 does have a standard body ... it must be possible to convert the handle ... Is a D-boys body compatible with CA?
Vercingetorix
Not as far as I know.. They use a TM and Guarder esque 2 pin + tabs reciever, while CA and G&P use a QD 1 pin takedown with no tabs (AT LEAST THE DECENTLY NEW CAs sorry for caps...)
1st_shooter
To make the bolt hatch thing come down so you can see the bolt move back and forth would require some mods to the gearbox me thinks as from my knowledge the CA has the "Bolt" built onto the front of the gearbox so its fixed where as TM and alike have one that is attachted to the carry handle and moves back and forth that also has an arm when it moves to just make the little door flip open. But it seems like alot of effort for little gain to me.
Panzergraf
I've worked on several Dboy and CA guns, and the receivers look similar. I haven't tried it myself, but I'm fairly certain they're interchangeable. Not that it matters much if you're getting a complete body set with both lower and upper.
Clastyclay
I will order the body from rsov ... $25 is not that much .. but the shipping rate will rise ... so i really need to know, if I have to do any work on the body (filing, changing the hop up etc.)! If I have to, I gonne think about ordering one of these things!
L4byr1nth
I have a CA XM177E2, and it doesn't do this either! Ben.
Clastyclay
What's the matter?
yubbermax
I will order the body from rsov ... $25 is not that much .. but the shipping rate will rise ... so i really need to know, if I have to do any work on the body (filing, changing the hop up etc.)! If I have to, I gonne think about ordering one of these things! Shipping will be a lot, probably $40 USD at least. I'd order from Ebaybanned which has free shipping world wide and is only 33 Euros or ~$53 USD. I just ordered a Colt body from them tonight
Clastyclay
The body is quiet cheap ... but I want to be on the safe side! But I don't want to change the metal hop up ... it would too expensive!
1st_shooter
i dont know why your getting a new body your better off with a new charging handle from a tm and alike etc and fake bolt cover.
Clastyclay
I don't wanted to open up a new thread for the d'boys question .. so I combined Would a tm charging handle work on a CA body? Would that be the solution?
