Prometheus
I'm just really into the old west. I DO NOT like John Wayne movies though. He is just too, oh whats the word, into himself. I LOVE Clint Eastwood movies though. Really good stuff. Not the mocho *beep* that John Wayne did. ~P
Shao14
I refuse to fan as it makes you look like a ponce. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Haha, I believe fanning is the least characteristic of a ponce.
Buttons
Oh really? What kind of NONponce practices such poor firearm control as HOLDING DOWN THE TRIGGER?!
Prometheus
Its not used to snipe enemies. Its used to scare the hell out of them...and possibly *hurt* them in the process. ~P

Sledge
It's used at those times when you need to put all 5/6 rounds down range as fast as possible. Given the skill required, it is one of the least poncy techniques I can think of.
Buttons
Hehe, good point. I suppose you only load 5 rounds in the cylinder? 16 rounds total (so the hammer doesn't have the real harsh pull) and I keep it uncocked and in my holster till needed. It's used at those times when you need to put all 5/6 rounds down range as fast as possible. Given the skill required, it is one of the least poncy techniques I can think of. Thats what running away like a catholic schoolgirl is for. I mean advancing to the rear.

Shao14
Manly men do NOT run away, or advance to the rear, we bite the bullets, literally. Edited August 3, 2005 by Shao14

Buttons
Manly men do NOT run away, or advance to the rear, we bite the bullets, literally. Strategically displace in the face of adversity (like a scared Catholic schoolgirl)?
Prometheus
I'd rather stand and fight than run. No fight or flight syndrome for me. I'll fight anyday....or at least passivly attack my attackers. ~P
snowman
as opposed to actively not attacking them? Cheers.
Prometheus
Exactly I don't know. I never run is what I mean. ~P
Shao14
Exactly I don't know. I never run is what I mean. ~P <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Me neither. Somehow the idea running away don't register in my mind when I'm in a firefight. I always think about it after either I kill the opponent or got hit myself. That'd probably explain why I seem to get hit faster than others. Some other people's first reaction upon the sound of gear cranking is to ...er... strategically relocate to the rear, and they were usually the last ones standing in a game. Prometheus
Same. Running is not an option. People should live or die in battle. Not run away like some little, ahem, *Kitty*s. ~P
Buttons
I'll have you know, I'm not just some 'kitty'. I'm a KITTEN NINJA. And it's not about just running away at the first problem, it's about knowing when you can't win, and when it's most advantageous to pull back and push forward on another front. Heck, I play pistols (usually my Bling Bling combo Colt .45 and SAA) vs AEGs quite regularly, have an annoying tendency to remove the Opfor by myself...
Prometheus
Thats all dandy, buts its not at all smart. "If you keep running, they will keep following you" --unknown ~P
Buttons
Except they won't keep following you, and if they do, you know exactly where they are and can then choose the position of your own choice. Stick and move, eh old chap?
