malthus101
Howdy folks The only supplier in the UK who has the GBB rifle I'm after is Special Airsoft Supplies - however, the only thing I've heard about them is a guy saying they claim to have guns in stock which they don't, that they take your money and basically don't answer phone calls when you are chasing up the missing gun months later. Obviously, I don't like the sound of that! Has anyone bought from them and what was your experience? Thanks. http://specialairsoftsupplies.co.uk/index.php?route=common/home
hwagan
Run a search on these boards for 'Special Airsoft Supplies'; And thank all things you asked first. They're not just un-trustworthy, they're a criminal enterprise specialising in scamming airsofters out of hard earned money. Avoid them at all costs.
jez
No!!!! All I have ever heard is bad things about them I wouldn't send my worst enemy there!
Jimmypie
C**T, do not buy from him.
Wild_XIII
I've read enough bad reviews about the place that I'm genuinely surprised they're not out of business! I would think the only reason people go there is generally to ask for the guns they've ordered because they've not been posted, or to threaten with legal action to get their money back! hwagan
Also I have credible information that the owner of Special Airsoft Supplies does poops on bunny rabbits.
FTZ-WildeCard
Really? We're doing this thread again? Should it be a sticky somewhere by now? Anyway, what GBB Rifle are you after?
FireKnife
*fruitcage* them. Complete waste of your time. I did have two orders from them that arrived, but only after a phone call and a threatening word (this was back 6yrs ago). By all accounts they have only gotten worse. hwagan
How can this guy still be in Business? Because most people just go 'Awww, dang.' and give up.
FTZ-WildeCard
Because most people just go 'Awww, dang.' and give up. Actually that does make sense; I can imagine they are the same people who come here after and complain about SAS -- now if we look at the number of threads we get on this company... damn, it all becomes clear! I did do a search for them by name in this forum and got not a single return hit - I tried! : )
malthus101
To answer those asking what I'm after, it is the GHK AKMSU GBB - here is the ad on SAS: http://specialairsoftsupplies.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=103&product_id=1034 Fire Support have an AEG version but I really want the GBB: http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/lct-akmsu-aeg-airsoft-gun It seems all of Asia and the US have this GBB badboy but no one in the UK, apart from SAS. Thanks. PS - here is some video porn of this gun:

Thanks. PS - here is some video porn of this gun: SAS don't actually have it at all; They're just lying that they do so you'll buy one, and either do one of two things: 1: Wait several months, send lots of e-mails, letters and angry phone calls, and eventually give up and lose your money. 2: Wait several months, send lots of e-mails, letters and angry phone calls, keep at it, take the guy to a small claims court and get your money back, after wasting several days worth of your own life in the process. I'd recommend doing one of the following instead: Order it from an HK retailer; As long as you've got the necessary defense (Ideally UKARA registration), it'll turn up in under 2 weeks and cost about the same price as SAS are advertising it for, and you'll probably be able to get an extra mag or two with the change. For some reassurance, not a month ago I had a GHK PDW turn up, with 3 extra mags and a barrel assembly. It arrived within 12 working days, and the total cost for everything was £386, including shipping and customs charges. E-mail good UK retailers, like Fire Support, LandWarrior, Pro Airsoft Supplies, and ask them nicely if they can order you one in. It'll take a while, but there'll be someone willing to ship it in for you if you don't like ordering from HK yourself. Seriously, I know it'll seem tempting, but don't order from SAS. Just don't. There's been a whole myriad of threads on these boards about just how awful they are, and plenty of people can attest to that.
FTZ-WildeCard
If you're stuck for which HK retailer to go for, RedWolf just sent out an advert for this very rifle. Either way, your chances are better with HK than with SAS!
bankz5152
Buying from them is like getting your cash flushing it down the toilet then being slapped in the face for doing so. Dont buy from them. Redwolf & WGC are very good retailers.

Yes - they did, but they don't have their own website at the minute from what I can remember..well that's a lie - you can find them on Facebook. Arclight (the guy from the videos) is present at the store.
Phubar
At present, if SAS manage to do 10 transactions back to back with all issues encountered being dealt with in an acceptable manner and with good customer relations resulting at the end, I'll quit bacon for life. Some of my friends have been burned by this retailer and I've had to endure the role of counsellor for them. Just, Don't, Risk, It. malthus101
OK guys thanks, they are well and truly crossed off my list forever now! I asked Pro Airsoft who said they couldn't get it (which is a bit weird as when I went in to see their showroom they pretty much told me they would try and get anything any customer wanted and essentially take the risk of ordetring from HK or dodgy Chinese companies - oh well) So I will try Land warriors and the other one you mentioned. Thanks everyone...

malthus101
Alas, neither Pro Airsoft Supplies, Land Warriors nor Firesupport are willing to help out on this one - guess I will have to risk having it sent from HK. Anyone think the risk is not worth it? I'm not worried about the HK retailer, just what happens when it hits customs in the UK. Thanks.
LordElpus
Perhaps their HK suppliers don't actually have this available or in limited supplies?
