Pablo
Aha! Here's a larger version of that original photo: Taken from here.
Lance Jackass
Just found it in a book at school - the L67A1 37mm arwen gun. L67A1 is also a screening smoke, so finding images is getting me nowhere.
Misfit
'lo I was scanning in a couple (about 100 ) of pages of a book I have called 'Small Arms', and found the Arwen and L67A1 launchers.
Desolation mkII
and dont you hold the sten by the mag at the side I was told by my uncle (who owned one) that you never hold a sten by the mag as it makes them misffed.

Kyrian_Zenda
That L67A1 was the base gun for Boba Fett's rifle. Just sayin'
BrentN
And this guy isn't a Red Coat. Just because it's no longer in use doesn't mean they don't still have/shoot them, either for "promotional" purposes/education purposes or whatever. It may be a launcher, but it definately wasn't the HK69. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> lol, what a retarded comparison. Clearly in that picture, that soldier is not engaging and enemy, he is posing for a photo. When you are in real life combat, you will never be issued a sten, or a *fruitcage* muzzleloader unless its all the military can provide. They also aren't going to train you with obsolete weapons for that matter. The soldier in that pic is purely just posing or maybe just curious on how to use a muzzleloader, but theres no way his CO would issue *beep* like that for training.
cazboab
He wasn't saying that the guy was issued the flintlock as a weapon, just that the army maintains a bunch of stuff for historical value.
CobaltSky
Yeah. A few times when I've been shooting the army has been there with various weapons such as flintlocks and old carbines etc.
