Catman
Well the barrel design looks better than the V1 and there's no screw cap around the fill valve this time. Sound promising, just hope the quality of the fill valves is a lot better that they don't tear the o-rings. For sale on at WGC: King Arms 120R Cartridge M433 HEDP x1 = $32.00 King Arms 120R Cartridge M433 HEDP x3 = $68.00 $68 for 3... a bit hard to go wrong there I won't be buying them though - only because I got 7... King Arms can send me a set to review though
CrazyJ
wow only $68 for 3! Hopefully by the time they hit the U.S. shores it wont go up in price too much
Skarclaw
I have some money left over with Unco, so if they stock them there I'll order the pack of 3. Hopefully they won't be complete duds.
MarineDEP
Wait, havn't the V2's been out for couple weeks now? I asked about them a week ago someone said there bad, but they mightve been talking about the V1's so now I'm freakin' confused. Does anyone know if the V2's are *suitcase*?
Catman
No idea, the V1's were problematic but once sorted they were ok (see my sig). This V2 design looks better but I'd assume they'd need attention straight out the box on the fill valves just like the V1's (again see sig )
TheFull9
As excellent as Catman's guide is, I never quite did get my 3 pack of V1s working, most components were alright and they're built ok but simply leaked from the fill valves even after working on 'em. If they've truly improved on the design these could well be worth it, otherwise I'll stick with madbull, can't go wrong with them.
Hatman
Oh for god's sake, I just ordered some of the version 1s : P
infected
Yeah, even with catman's guide, I still had problems with my V1's. Hopefully these v3's will be much better off.
sacbagjr
Looks like evike has em for $99. Still a good price. Especially when you consider free shipping. http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.ph...oducts_id=28073
infected
Or, you could order through Airsoftadvantage, and get the WGC shop price with US shipping costs.
Catman
I get trouble with my V1's now and again, usually because I left it too long before re-gassing them after use. I keep a spare set of o-rings in steering fluid for when they get troublesome
Hatman
Haha, go Redwolf. They sent me the version 2s after all! Comparing them with the guide provided by Catman, it seems as though there are some minor changes. The charging nozzle no longer has a hole beneath the o-ring, so there goes that problem, and the cap around it seems to have a large enough o-ring to prevent leakage. Other than that, I wouldn't know since I do not have any version 1s kicking about.
infected
The problem I had with the v1's was the fill valve breaking off all the time! I've had 2 of the three grenade shells break there!
SHOGUN_YAMATO
What bout those ? https://www.airsoftsupplier.co.uk/Shop-Cartridges-id30.aspx V1s or V2s ? I want to order them but I still don't know if its worth it. And another queston - which will be better, 60BBs or 120BBs?
infected
They look like v1's. V2's do not have the extra 2 holes in the top for removing the valve assembly. Of course, they could be old pictures.
SHOGUN_YAMATO
Yea but those https://www.airsoftsupplier.co.uk/Products-...-rnd-id152.aspx don't seem to have the mentioned holes. Btw can you direct me to an onlihe shop in UK that ships to other European countriesand has V2 KA grenades?
Stuey
Shogun, the 60bb grenade will probably have more range but (obviously) the 120 will shoot a bigger cloud of BBs. Depends what you want/where you will be using it. Stu.
SHOGUN_YAMATO
Well Im kinda new in ASG grenades (apart from home made bean+firecracker granades ) so tkanx for the first info. So what else can you tell be about ASG grenades in general? May idea is to clean bushes, rooms, trenches at ranges up to 20 meters (about 55 feet).
Fin
Should be ordering some of the 60 rounders ones from UN tonight, bit iffy about what customs may say....then again they are kind of 2 tone
SHOGUN_YAMATO
Well don't have that problem over here. Be happy to her how they work
Hatman
I have 120rounders but exclusively put 60bbs and green gas in them. With 120 rounds the range is about 7-8 metres tops. With 60 its ever so slightly more effective. For example, I got a kill last game from 30 metres with one of these babies.
