Horsem4n
its just the system 7 guns with the KWA treatment of metalness as we all know. KWA already deignated their line as PTP and they cant not call it that. funny still. i think this is the PTP i want.
my_plague_666
DO WANT! i wonder if the barrel is plastic like on their M9. that'd suck, especially if PTP barrels arent compatible with older types (which i suspect they arent)
Korppi
Seems more of my money is on its way to HK in the near future...Interested to hear performance differences between earlier models.

RedScare
hmm...i have the second version with the six hole flash hider...im not feeling the way the magazine base looks at the bottom...its not flush unlike the previous models I am 85% sure you can use the other M9 PTP mags in this gun, making it flush
Mr.Hyde
That's WAY prettier than the last version. It's still not 1911 pretty, but it looks good. I'm buying with christmas money MOAR

Clockwork_O
Can someone tell me please which parts on this KWA 93r are metal?
RedScare
everything is metal except the barrel
my_plague_666
anyone know if old school aftermarket barrels will fit? namely standard length M9 ones.
Horsem4n
it should, everything's the same except the gas system.
my_plague_666
i'm sure i heard that the old type barrels won't fit the M9 PTP, still, great if they do fit (still think it was retarded to make everything metal except the barrel)
DarkMM
i'm sure i heard that the old type barrels won't fit the M9 PTP, still, great if they do fit (still think it was retarded to make everything metal except the barrel) Indeed the old KSC M9 and current Sys7 M9 do not have interchangable barrels (owned one and sold it to buy the new PTP). The new Sys7 version appears to have a simplified interface. Now a meal outter barrel would be nice but it doesn't seem to take away anything from the gun itself - But I would like a Hush Puppy conversion for it
Horsem4n
just to let you guys know, this isn't a "PTP", its a M93r2 with the NS2 gas system. so it has a metal barrel and slide but a plastic frame. Alizard, ASBs resident KWA rep, told us that over this year they are updating all the old models to the NS2 gas system (he didn't say this included the glocks) and new replicas will fallow the year after. he went on to say that most retailers are falsely advertising them as PTPs when they are not. RedScare
NS2?
Horsem4n
the abbreviated technical name for "System 7". i don't know what the full name is.
my_plague_666
...plastic frame? ASGI says full metal i'd expect at least the frame and slide to be metal for them to say that. if this is the case it's off my want list
Horsem4n
its a lie. it really has a plastic frame. maybe ASGI hasn't opened a box yet to check and they miss read the package. maybe they saw "KWA M93r2 NEW SYSTEM!" or something and thought "since that's what the other PTPs said on their package we'll just label them PTPs." it doesnt make me not want one, it just means that aftermarket parts are a sure fit. my_plague_666
ah, i only wanted it because i thought it had a metal frame. aftermarket ones are like hens teeth
