08kecarv
Saw this on EBB, looks cool. Now I'm debating between a mag pouch or four stacked fastmags. Anyway, heres a pic:
BigAl
Bear in mind if you use metal mags you may up drawing the shell and leaving the internals in the fastmag! Not good, glad I tried mine before heading of too a skirmish! Incidentally mine is a V2.
uscmCorps
Looks kinda yellowish compared to my real V2 and V3 Fast mags.
Isamu
If the color is the only issue, its a good fastmag then. Krilon will solve it thou

TDS
How the heck did that happen? screw holding in the mag internals at the bottom of the mag fell out is the only way i can imagine that happening.

fiddlesticks4220
OK, maybe is prayer was for some low cost ones? Any idea if KAC PDW mags will fit?
MCXL
I like fastmags because its nice and easy to apply shiny stickers to them! Not like those silly pouches.
08kecarv
OK, maybe is prayer was for some low cost ones? Any idea if KAC PDW mags will fit? Supposedly they fit but I have no firsthand experience. From what I've heard though, they fit no problem. Actually now that I think about it, why wouldn't they fit? They're the same size as regular AR mags (in airsoft at least) so it'll work.

Actually now that I think about it, why wouldn't they fit? They're the same size as regular AR mags (in airsoft at least) so it'll work. They're actually a little different, they have that reduction in size thingy after the magwell. It holds it by tension so it might have some side to side give if you put it in right side up. But if you put it in upside down it'll be fine I'd think.

I thought that you were supposed to put the mags in upside down. Is it just another one of those user preference things?
uscmCorps
Any idea if KAC PDW mags will fit? The VFC KAC PDW mags fit in the real Fast mags. Confirmed tonight.
NeoVeNoM
Actually ITW heard your prayer. uscmCorps, Is it possible to buy ITW fastmags as foreigner?
uscmCorps
uscmCorps, Is it possible to buy ITW fastmags as foreigner? Near as I can tell, neither MilSpecMonkey.com nor TAD Gear state that these are not available for export. I see no reason why it would be a problem for a foreigner to purchase these. Cyclone TAW
Looks nice, I got my 2 FastMAg gen11 in yesterday's mail. Stacking them definatly saves up some space. I got mine at UKtactical though. http://www.uktactical.com/cgi-bin/sh000005...astMag#aFastMag Edit: I was quite happy with the delivery speed as well. Ordered on thursday, got them yesterday. The Reptile House
I've been using the EBB v2.0 ones for about six months and they are excellent...I can't justify the price of the ITW ones, but I'm assuming they are even better. These v3.0 ones look great - quite apart from stackability, the attachment straps look much better (moulded rather than fabric).
Mishkan
I thought that you were supposed to put the mags in upside down. Is it just another one of those user preference things? User preference, for some competition shooting it allows for a single motion from drawing out of the pouch to reloading. I think the guy at military morons was doing it this way if you're looking for pics.
The Reptile House
Upside down rocks. Never had any droppage - and that's without using the bungees.

I think the guy at military morons was doing it this way if you're looking for pics. The other reason why he has the FastMags upside down is because he has them mounted on a TADGear bandoleer. The bandoleer is situated high across the chest vs a belt rig which is at the waste. Having the mags pointed up in that configuration would force the user to extract the mags in a very inefficient, and ergonomically awkward manner. Upside down however, is very natural. Gigueand
Must these be mounted to MOLLE or can they mount to a standard belt? Seems like sort of an inane question... I guess I'm wondering if the attachment points on the back are like a molded plastic clip or something that might slide into the top and bottom of the PALS webbing, or if it has standard straps that weave through and then attach to the unit. Is the attachment style exactly the same as the ITWs?
08kecarv
The system should be the same, and if so then yes they can in fact be belt mounted. Heres the link to militarymorons.com where they've reviewed the G3 fastmag (RS), just scroll down about a third of the page: http://militarymorons.com/equipment/2ndline2.html#fstmag3
Vercingetorix
Damnit, when I read G3 I thought you meant they made a 7.62 fast mag and got all excited
