Depends how you play I suppose. I went through a SAAV and a viper black tac vest quite quickly, I gave up and started to spend a little bit more. 30 quid sounds cheap but after you break it after 2 skirmishes it stops becoming good value.

No, would be kinda retarded given that most flecktarn stuff which isn't total *badger*s holds g36 mags, which the saav doesn't. edit atleast mine didn't, but it was a cheap POS.

Ah makes sense. Dunno how skilled with electronics etc, but a previous AG36 I had was 2nd hand, the owner obviously had problems charging the battery, so he had wired up a custom plug socket thing into one of the holes that run along the bottom of the handguard just above the launcher bit, and it came with a wire that you plugged into your charger as if it was a battery, then plugged the other end into the plug in the AG36. Was pretty cool.

What battery you using? I have a 9.6v 1400 stick type which is fine, I just take of the launcher as if it was the foregrip. edit *fruitcage* sweet stuff man, the g36 is so ugly it becomes awesome. What modification did you do to the CA RAS to make it look more like the KAC? Also, what is that flash hider?

All I've done is chopped the pouches of the front, and removed the canadian style webbing mounts from the shoulders and sides of the carrier. The hard bit is going to be modding the collar and the velcro bits, it depends how close I want it to look I suppose. tbh I may just mod the collar cause I'm gonna be wearing stuff over it so it'll be semi look alike atleast. Tac gear stuff is used yeah, but as private purchase, I'm not sure how common they are either. For a plate carrier to wear under a chest rig you're pretty much looking at a mehler like so; but these are expensive as hell when you see them, I got a mehler with the 3 pouches, I'm in the process of modding it to make it look more like the one above. As said before yeah KSK etc can be seen wearing more American style kit, the most common thing at the moment seems to be CIRAS with a MAV worn over it, but this has only been in training photos, and its not clear if they were trialling

Don't think so, most infantry will use the IDZ plate carrier with some LBV (idz vest, lindernoff mav thing etc etc), KSK tends to be the same but the mehler ksk plate carrier, however in recent pics they've got CIRAS and similar, but I've not seen anything to suggest that they do, which doesn't really mean alot, but yeah.

Well you need to make sure the suppressor has the right thread for the g36 (either cw or ccw, I can't remember what the g36c is, basically if you screw the flash hider onto the barrel and it goes on cw, its a cw thread, I think) so check this before you buy it, otherwise you may need an adaptor. Once you have it, just unscrew the flash hider and screw on the suppressor. Don't think there are any QD suppressors that fit a g36c. Cheers.

Nope, you can tell cause the arms that hook under the helmet have alot more space between them. edit so its less confusing no not rhino mounts, I found the website for thier nv etc, can't remember what its called though.

Pkekyo, can you fit g36 mags in the pouches on your rig? Looks like there are a fair few shingles, and I thought they could only accommodate the one m4 mag? Cheers.
