I've heard that the problems with the tappet plate are pretty common, I haven't heard anything bad about it, besides that.

Nice job on the paint, I would recommend painting the receiver as well. Most likely all that black will stick out like a sore thumb. Also, did you drop a VSR barrel assembly inside an L96? That is indeed very interesting.

Well the reason I ask, is because the lower receiver on both the CA and VFC SCARs aren't exact of the M16 series lower receiver. You can see that on the SCAR, excluding the JLS, the lower behind the grip is at a 90 degree angle, apposed the the M16 series. Which looks to be at around a 45 degree angle. The worst that could I suppose is that it wouldn't fit, and I would just have to sell it off. Thanks, for the info though.

I have a question for all you SCAR owners out there. Do you think it would be possible to put a MIAD grip on a SCAR? I would like to do this to the VFC SCAR when it comes out.

Souske, nice job on the gun. What I would do though, is paint the grips black, it would make everything look more uniform.

A lot of silencers are great, King Arms comes to mind. My Classic Army QD silencer doesn't really make the gun quieter, it just makes more of a hollow noise.

Yes, the TM RIS is a little bit shorter than the CA handguards. So I had to move the front sight back about 5cm and drill/cut new slots for the rods to go through. Then I had to file down the backside of the RIS where it makes a rectangle when it's together, I also had to file down the barrel as Orion stated. It took about 3 hours altogether, but it was worth it.

No, it's an OE Tech vest ordered from Airsoft GI. The vest is very nice though, and I highly recommend it.
