Actually, that is my first full gun paint job. I just use really simple strokes and do really lite coats which can make it look monotone but I see beauty in the subtle touches, not the craziness. I used primer which I now regret because it's not wearing as I had wished but I will just beat it around some more, it can take it. (another good thing about the Mk14's)

Well, the mag pouch fits tight enough where you don't really need the magnets. Although, I do get odd looks when I've got a magazine floating in some unexplainable way in the air on the outside of my mag pouch.

DBT stuff is just fine. I love the pack because its about half the price of Eagle's and has pals webbing on it. Also, the mag pouches have magnets in them.

This is not the place to ask and it has been discussed before but basically, they are the improved version of the 552. The EOTech sights are expensive because they are high quality, last forever, use holographic displays (so there is no parallax), and have great customer support.

Sorry I don't know what you say but Star is re-releasing a version that does have full auto, is made of much higher quality materials, and doesn't suck.

If you get an EBR based m14, get it shooting as hard as your field limits allow. It's 13 lbs unloaded so without upgrades, you feel like an idiot carrying around a gun that is only slightly better than an mp5.

Yea, I can't say enough for it. That sling is where it's at. It hangs perfect and doesn't constrict when shouldered.
