  1. What's with the obsession over Noveske cans? They look hideous
  2. My thoughts exactly--though I might have to settle for one--all the true Steyrs are selling out fast. I guess people are anticipating Hillary in '08.
  3. Except the Stg556 has that horrid forward assist, ruining the sleek look.
  4. You guys might be interested to know that the current issue of Guns & Ammo has 30 pages of HK goodness.
  5. Gah--that bipod is a desecration!
  6. I just took a swatch of Japanese GSDF camo from here, and overlayed it with Photoshop. I don't like painting the metal parts--it just doesn't look right to me.
  7. Awesome, or hideous? I can't decide.
  8. Actually, you're being the anal one, since the term "flashhider"are used by every firearms manufacturer known to man. "Charging handle" and "cocking handle" are interchangeable. According to the Steyr AUG manual (page in question found here), your flash "exluder" is called a flash hider. The M16's PM manual calls it a "flash suppressor". AR15.com's AR15 parts guide lists your "cocking handle" as a "charging handle" (sauce). The M14 manual uses the term "flash suppressor". I'm confused over the term "excluder", as "exlude" means "to expel", and every firearm "excludes" a fla
  9. Note seam line where the scope meets the receiver. The scope can be detached from the receiver, and replaced with a rail. On the A1 model, you have to swap entire receivers. CA's AUG "A2" is simply an A1 with railed receiver. Note the curved charging handle, without forward assist, as opposed to the A1's rectangular handle with forward assist button.
  10. I think the flashlight is fine--it's the bipod that ruins it for me.
  11. Don't have the A2 either, as no company makes an AUG A2. Which in the real steel AUG world is known as the "closed flashhider"
  12. Ack--I had a bookmark to a 24 incher, but lost it when I reformatted. I think it was BoomArms or something? http://www.boomarms.com/sc/viewproductdeta...p?ProductID=585 I wanna do that instead of the 203. Would probably cost the same too.
  13. Yes. So are the receivers. I plan to have an AUG setup like this: Daytime light: -CA AUG A1 16" barrel Daytime heavy: -CA AUG A1 20" barrel M203 Nighttime light: -CA AUG A1 16" barrel, TM railed receiver, optic Nighttime heavy: -CA AUG A1 20" barrel, M203, TM railed receiver, optic Can't decide on the optic though--EoTech or aimpoint.
  14. So....can I buy it and save you the trouble of owning the ugliness?
  15. That 30 round mag looks hideous though.
  16. Yeah--effective for warding off evil spirits. I wonder how hard it would be to remove the paint--at least on the metal parts.
  17. Speaking of P90s, I was looking through the Rainbow Six Raven Shield texture files, and found that the texture for the P90 was directly copied from a Marui.
  18. Ugliest AUG ever. And that's real steel.....no wonder it hasn't been bought yet.
  19. Hey FarEast, did your tan P99 come with the threaded barrel like it was supposed to? Mine didn't, and I'm still waiting on RedWolf to send me one
  20. Now that's a bastardized P90.... How the hell are you supposed to aim when the sight is so low?
  21. I think you mean a KSC Mk23, with a beautiful metal slide.
  22. Wait--it's a KSC?! That's gotta have one nice metal kit on it to be a KSC..... Fake things usually look cooler than real life anyway. Exception being boobies, among other things.
