  1. Be interested to know how it holds up, they seem to be doing the nicest looking of the AEG MPs right now.
  2. Nemesis Chest Rig from Warrior Assault Systems Construction After what I would regard as an overdue period sticking to 1000D cordura (which put me off the brand for some time) Warrior has finally seen the 500 denier light and this rig was one the very first items they produced to the new lighter, less bulky spec, in-keeping with trends seen throughout the tactical gear industry. After a few years of not picking up any WAS gear I was curious to know if the very high standard of durability in construction and mil-spec materials were still in place and I'm happy to report they are. The
  3. Ha, guess the scale must look pretty funky if you've not seen it in person. It's a 9" AR forend, hopefully this angle will illustrate the design I had done a little better. Explosive haz div, same sort of logo as I got VZ to put in my 1911 grips.
  4. Had to wait a long time for this puppy, but hopefully I'll finally have the chance to do the installation this weekend.
  5. Not seen it used for that, but searching for 'the' use for the Warsport bungee is kinda pointless, it's like the shemagh/headover of the rifle world. BCM/HSP posted up some nice shots of KMR equipped ARs using them a while back, utilised to tie down cables for remote switches on PEQs and lights etc, that's what sparked my interest personally. But my AEG with a KMR doesn't even have a SureFire or PEQ (prefer the WML or pistol lights these days) I just like the extra bit of grip and surface contouring, plus aesthetics of course. TL;DR - becoz ayrsuft bro
  6. Pretty certain they're reversible on all the different Gen3 models and the cut-out in the frame looks to be the same size on the right as it is on the left. Should be g2g.
  7. I do not know the stuff that everyone else has in their own heads, I cannot read minds. I also don't check every single review/news/discussion thread religiously where the information could potentially have been put up (there's a lot of places). I presumed people had seen them, if I'd known they hadn't, I would've mentioned it. If I'd mentioned it and everyone already knew, I'd get snide 'pff.. boring *snooze*' type replies.
  8. Kinda surprised that's news, AS Global have had these up for literally months, I'd have posted up if I'd known. Good WGC have them though, I was thinking of replacing my non-traded 17 and the extended mag catch on the Gen4 make it very appealing.
  9. Looking good, be interested to know how that cummerbund holds up 5-10 skirmishes down the line.
  10. Thought it might be the case, worth checking though. Thanks.
  11. The spring attached to the Vickers part is proper solidly attached, the metal piece securing it in has it crimped right on there hard. I can tell I'd just end up destroying the spring in the process of getting it out and if I did avoid that I'm not sure I could get it back in. Was an interesting experiment and annoying I spent so long building up a cleanly shaped plastic riser on the lever to interact with the airsoft mags properly, but it's not all that different to the stock lever in practical use. I've got the Trijicon sights on there so I think I'll put in a new trigger spring and le
  12. That, to me, reads to say Glocks only. Hence the question.
  13. Anyone know if these are compatible with normal TM type buckings and inner barrels? I'm a total noob with the insides of pistols, but I'm thinking of picking up this set to go with the Angry Gun threaded barrel: http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail1.php?search_From=searchItem&item=MLTW-HUS-100&search=special&rs=stark&catid=&cat=&view_choice=b
  14. Unless there's some crossed wires going on here, I cannot see how the spring for the mag catch could be involved. It's well clear of the lower edge of the trigger, definitely didn't get caught up. Can't see how there'd be any interference between it and the trigger or slide lock lever.
  15. Put the original slide lock back in, helped slightly but after comparing the two trigger bar springs it's clear I've stretched the one from the FDE gun beyond its' elastic limit. Luckily WGC have every single internal spare part going. Also the Vickers part doesn't seem to get along well at all with the frame. I think there's enough of a gap for it to sit over the plastic without binding (the part you actually press) but it seems to be slightly off in terms of the primary bends in the piece, the trigger's a lot stiffer with the RS part in and even with the under side built-up using plastic
  16. That's pretty much what I want to do. How does the Krebs handguard get on with the GHK?
  17. Looks the same as my black gun to my eye, spring is in the same place. Not the easiest of things to take pictures of: FDE gun has the reset issue. I'm trying to think if the Vickers slide lock might cause an issue somehow, if it's maybe pressing against the trigger, might try putting the stock slide lock back in to see what happens.
  18. Trying to put the front part of the lower internals back in to the frame on one of my 17s. All goes back in and works with a slide on if I reset the trigger myself, but for some reason it won't pop back to the cocked position under its' own steam. I've reattached the small spring that goes between the trigger bar and the smaller of the 2 roll pins (has a hook on one end and an eyelet on the other) in the proper way, using my other gun as reference, but something's not right. Anyone got any ideas?
  19. Can't say my findings correlate with regards the stock motor. Didn't work at all with the standard base plate but with the metal one I get the exact same performance whether using the stock grip or a MOE/MIAD. Same with all 3 SOCOMs.
  20. MIAD with the metal base plate, stock internals, brand new Guarder. Works a treat with the stock motor but perhaps not with the UT it seems.
  21. Tried a Guarder Infinite Torque in one of my SOCOMs... *fruitcage* awful, I've never heard an electric gun *fruitcage* howl and scream so much. No matter where I adjusted it, horrible. No discernible increase in semi response and the auto rate went through the floor, it was like firing a GPMG with the gas closed down to the point just before it runs away on you. Kind of cool in a weird way having the sort of steady thump on full auto but it just felt really wrong. Stock motor back in, much much happier gun.
  22. On that note, if anyone's got a suggestion for a tougher recoil spring for the 17 I'd definitely like to hear it. Both my G17s and both M&Ps are lacking in this department; they shoot fine and battery fine if you're firm with them but I just don't see this problem with any other pistol I've handled.
  23. DAMN YOU UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE. HOW DARE YOU STOP WORKING AT THE WEEKEND.

They actually do work on Saturdays, at least in my area.

  24. Never had enough spare gun bits to build a whole one, but this is my spares box belt setup. Worked out quite well really, I always wanted to put together something along the lines of a modernised version of webbing using PALS pouches. Probably look in to picking up a yoke with mounting points for a hydro tube and adding a small 1L bladder between the dump pouch and the utility, but other than that it carries everything I like to carry quite nicely indeed.
  25. I think short launchers like that will probably give optimal results with these. I don't think having a 40mm barrel that's longer than the TAG is detrimental, but then I've never felt it was a good idea to run an inner barrel that was shorter than your outer on a standard airsoft gun, always that small risk. The Archangels perhaps have a slightly higher fun factor than the Reapers though and I think between the two pyro rounds they've got the most potential for effectiveness. The issue with the airburst projectiles is they've got a fuse timing that's setup for the maximum range of the sh
