2 years and this thread is still alive? ...even if it is 2 pages long Johngol, I've only ever used them on cold days, and to be honest I was sweating so much with all the other pointless *suitcase* I was wearing, It was the last of my concern. But they were fairly comfy, but not as nice as the Element Sordins (Mine work with the ambient sound cut out, but comms don't work... but it may be the PTT I have). The only advantage is when you get shot in the ear wearing them you go deaf for 10 minutes rather than it stinging for hours.

No prob, I'll do it later when it get's a bit darker here in the UK, don't think filming it in broad daylight will do it any justice And Spiggy, thank you for confirming that, I always had my suspicions it done that, the same as alot of other chinese circuitry, like the Com-Tac's and stuff which seem to drain when "off", which is why I always take the battery out, or just turn it round when I'm not using it

^^ Haha Thanks, basically just coated the MICH in a single coat of khaki krylon..... all the other marks are just general dirt that seems to have been rubbed onto it. The 14's/Arm/Norotos were all lightly dusted with Khaki Krylon, just being a bit heavier with the dusting in raised areas. Nothing high speed

Hi guys, those which care to remeber, I started out doing SEAL based impressions, but I'm jumping ship and trying my hand at an SF impressions I've got myself some dummy 14's, M9 over the 226 and ditched my beloved Mk.14 It's far from the finished article, as there's stuff I'm not happy with. Nope, the IR isn't visible to the naked eye... The video was taken in total darkness under my Camcorder "Night Mode" so that's pretty much how you'll see it under NVG's so you're good to go Word of warning however, it isn't that bright in IR mode, so don't be expecting to sport your mates from a fair distance

Element IR VIP Strobe Review I ordered it from Ebaybanned for just under £13 or $20, took about 20 days to delivered. As I do not have a real deal to compare I’ll just review it as a product in it's own right. I'm glad this is finally being suggested. I found myself wanting to read up fixes/compatability and a bit of "tech" info on both the AGM and We GBB's to decide whether it was worth investing in either of them, yet when I went to look I was faced with a 300 page thread, and I for one am not prepared to sieve information from that, I'd much rather have the information in a specific thread, e.g. Bolt Issues, Hop Fix etc. so I can quickly identify major problems, and suggestions making life much easier.
