  1. I just need to find a combination of a mag and slide catch, safety and hammer that I like now. As my first "semi-custom" project, I've gained a lot of respect for you guys who build pistols from scratch. I also want to know what job you have, and if they're hiring. The base gun is a KJW KP-08.
  2. If you can, raise the frames per second on your camera and it should look smoother.
  3. So, from what I can gather, this thread is for any double stack/hi-capa based 1911 style gun? If I'm wrong, let me know, and I can move this to the 1911 thread. Started out as a KP08, but I decided I hated the squared slide and how hard it was to manipulate the snubby controls, so I canabilized my old KJW and transplanted the slide, catch and safety onto the grip. Can anyone recommend some good replacement sights? I've got my eye on a few, but I'd like to know if there are any underrated gems out there. I'm also looking to replace the mag release with a low profile one, all I can
  4. Not at all. You gotta go at it with a dremel, namely the catch and the ridge on the back.
  5. After about 3 months it still runs strong. Hasn't exploded yet. D-Boys Scar-H
  6. With these fancy new combat shirts and pants, people will finally realize just how awesome m81 is again. Great kits!
  7. I dremeled off half the rib on the back of the pmag. An example of this is shown a page earlier. The rib inside the magwell is still present.
  8. Not the best retailer. I've never had any trouble with the two times that I've ordered items from them, but other players locally have. It's a risk. If you can find the Madbull barrel at a store in your country, I would recommend going with that one. I've always loved Madbull products because of their high quality, and I don't doubt the threaded barrel is any less.
  9. http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=&products_id=35516 That's where I bought it. I'm not sure if you can find it anywhere else, my searches for one have only led me to the million dollar nineball barrel, and the madbull barrel with the extended innner. It's alright, the barrel isn't one piece, the actual threaded piece screws into the barrel. The finish of paint was terrible, too. I had to repaint mine. But hey, it's the cheapest solution for a threaded barrel on a 1911 right now. If you're going to get the barrel from Evike, get another product you need, they sh
  10. Yep. Flash hider from a Scar. The threaded barrel is made by WE.
  11. I guess I'll have to break out the power tools after all! I was hoping you found some unicorn site selling lowers cut for co2. Thanks, I've been looking all over for someone who has worked on replacing the body.
  12. Details on it? I have a KJW 1911, and I've been looking to replace the body..
