I just need to find a combination of a mag and slide catch, safety and hammer that I like now. As my first "semi-custom" project, I've gained a lot of respect for you guys who build pistols from scratch. I also want to know what job you have, and if they're hiring. The base gun is a KJW KP-08.

So, from what I can gather, this thread is for any double stack/hi-capa based 1911 style gun? If I'm wrong, let me know, and I can move this to the 1911 thread. Not at all. You gotta go at it with a dremel, namely the catch and the ridge on the back.

I dremeled off half the rib on the back of the pmag. An example of this is shown a page earlier. The rib inside the magwell is still present.

Not the best retailer. I've never had any trouble with the two times that I've ordered items from them, but other players locally have. It's a risk. If you can find the Madbull barrel at a store in your country, I would recommend going with that one. I've always loved Madbull products because of their high quality, and I don't doubt the threaded barrel is any less.

I'm not sure if you can find it anywhere else, my searches for one have only led me to the million dollar nineball barrel, and the madbull barrel with the extended innner. It's alright, the barrel isn't one piece, the actual threaded piece screws into the barrel. The finish of paint was terrible, too. I had to repaint mine.
